Troubled singer Chris Brown experienced another career-threatening meltdown at a local nightclub following his less-than-stellar performance at Hot 107.9′s Birthday Bash concert on Saturday. Brown, who was clearly wasted, ordered his goons to harass the local media.
A loyal reader, who prefers to remain anonymous, writes:
I really was not feeling Chris Brown’s behavior and how he treated the media last night. If he had a problem with taking photos why did he show up at such a high profile event in the first place? The young man MUST realize that he is a public figure and that he owes it to his fans that were in the building as well as the many that could not make it to the event to provide some level of humility when dealing with the media.
What was the purpose of hiring a publicist to invite media to cover the event if you don’t want your image taken? While we appreciated the invite by the event publicist, it is foolish for any celebrity to think that they are exempt from having their photo taken. To add insult to injury, he instructed his “mechanical dummies” aka security guards not to allow photographers to use their camera flashes. Where they do that at?
We suppose his reasoning was because there may have been a few underage drinkers in his VIP section he didn’t want us to get on camera. In any event, unless he changes his narcissist ways he will never rise to the level of a superstar.

Lil Wayne makes it rain on South Beach
A plethora of Hip Hop stars hit Miami Beach this 3-day weekend to partake in the Memorial Day festivities. On Saturday, rappers Lil Wayne and his homie Drake spent roughly $50,000 between them at Miami’s #1 strip club, the King of Diamonds.
Weezy partied at King of Diamonds while his current girlfriend, Dhea (in grey dress) chatted with his stylist, Marissa Flores.

1 Dead, 1 Critically Injured in Fall from W Hotel Window
There are conflicting reports about an accident involving two women who fell from a window at the W hotel in midtown Atlanta last night. One woman is dead and the other is in critical condition at Grady hospital.
According to both the AJC and WSB-TV, a party was going on at 3:30 am when the women started “play fighting” and broke through a fortified window (which isn’t easy to break). The women had attended an all-white party or a birthday party at the hotel.
According to WSB-TV, the two women fell from the 10th floor of the posh hotel located at 14th and Peachtree streets. But the AJC reports that the women fell from the 7th floor. A Facebook user who claims she attended the party last night says the women fell from the roof of the hotel.
Both women landed on a 5th floor ledge that broke their fall from either the 10th or 7th floors. One woman died on the 5th floor ledge. The other woman rolled off the ledge and fell an additional 5 floors to the ground. She is in critical condition at Grady, according to the AJC.
“It is really miraculous that anyone could survive that,” an onlooker Chris Cortnay told WSB.
The identities of both women are being withheld until the families are notified.

Celebs Out & About: Derrick Rose, Ne-Yo, Sheree, Slimm at Primal
NBA MVP Derrick Rose and his hapless Chicago Bulls suffered a setback to their NBA championship hopes when our Atlanta Hawks breezed to a 100-88 win over the Bulls in game 4 at the Philips Arena yesterday.
The Hawks’ easy win evens the Eastern Conference semifinals series at 2 games apiece. Game 5 is Tuesday night in Chicago.
According to local club promoters Slimm and Mr. Plush of Plush Blue Entertainment, Derrick Rose partied hard with teammates Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer of the Bulls at Primal nightclub on Friday night in Atlanta after the game. They say the affable Derrick made a quick $15,000 for his appearance at Primal.
Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo as well as Sheree of the ‘Real Housewives’ were also in attendance at Primal Friday night.
Derrick was seen knocking back a few in the VIP at the Thursday night party at Gold Room sponsored by AG Entertainment. All that hard partying may have affected his game yesterday. Still, Rose scored 34 points to Atlanta Hawks’ Josh Smith’s 16.
Rose, 22, is the youngest NBA player in the history of the NBA to win the MVP award. He also scored a career high 44 points in game 3 against the Hawks the same night of the party.

When Twitter Goes Horribly Wrong…
In the “So what else is new” category, aging rapper Lil Kim went off on her arch rival Nicki Minaj on Twitter.com last night.
Kim, who hosted a party at Velvet Room on Sunday night in Atlanta, went on a sustained Twitter rant, calling Nicki all kinds of “cheap stocking cap glued $10 bag hair wig wearing bitch,” among other quotables.
I missed the excitement last night as I was fast asleep in my bed when it all went down. But apparently the whole thing started when one of Nicki’s Stans suggested that Kim name her new puppy after the cartoonish “Pink Friday” rapper.
“I would never name her “Shitty Garbaj”!!! My dog is way prettier than that bitch!!!,” an irate Kim tweeted back.
