Remember I told you that socialite Amber Rose hired a trainer to pound her tired looking body back into shape? I’m told her efforts are paying off. She lost 6 lbs in one week. Good for her. Amber attended Maxim’s Hot 100 Party last night in Hollywood.

Celebs Out & About: Derrick Rose, Ne-Yo, Sheree, Slimm at Primal

NBA MVP Derrick Rose and his hapless Chicago Bulls suffered a setback to their NBA championship hopes when our Atlanta Hawks breezed to a 100-88 win over the Bulls in game 4 at the Philips Arena yesterday.

The Hawks’ easy win evens the Eastern Conference semifinals series at 2 games apiece. Game 5 is Tuesday night in Chicago.

According to local club promoters Slimm and Mr. Plush of Plush Blue Entertainment, Derrick Rose partied hard with teammates Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer of the Bulls at Primal nightclub on Friday night in Atlanta after the game. They say the affable Derrick made a quick $15,000 for his appearance at Primal.

Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo as well as Sheree of the ‘Real Housewives’ were also in attendance at Primal Friday night.

Derrick was seen knocking back a few in the VIP at the Thursday night party at Gold Room sponsored by AG Entertainment. All that hard partying may have affected his game yesterday. Still, Rose scored 34 points to Atlanta Hawks’ Josh Smith’s 16.

Rose, 22, is the youngest NBA player in the history of the NBA to win the MVP award. He also scored a career high 44 points in game 3 against the Hawks the same night of the party.

When Twitter Goes Horribly Wrong…

In the “So what else is new” category, aging rapper Lil Kim went off on her arch rival Nicki Minaj on Twitter.com last night.

Kim, who hosted a party at Velvet Room on Sunday night in Atlanta, went on a sustained Twitter rant, calling Nicki all kinds of “cheap stocking cap glued $10 bag hair wig wearing bitch,” among other quotables.

I missed the excitement last night as I was fast asleep in my bed when it all went down. But apparently the whole thing started when one of Nicki’s Stans suggested that Kim name her new puppy after the cartoonish “Pink Friday” rapper.

“I would never name her “Shitty Garbaj”!!! My dog is way prettier than that bitch!!!,” an irate Kim tweeted back.

Antonia Carter’s ‘Toya: A Family Affair’ Viewed By 1.5 Million

Antonia “Toya” Carter celebrated the series premiere of her reality TV show ‘Toya: A Family Affair’ at a viewing party at Straits Restaurant in midtown on Tuesday night (April 12).

According to the Nielsen Company, the series premiere of “Toya: A Family Affair” on BET was viewed by 1.5 million viewers among 1.1 million households!

That’s good enough to make Toya’s first solo venture without her friend Tiny, BET’s #1 series premiere to date for this season.

Speaking of Tiny, sources within her camp tell me that Tiny was not asked to return this season to BET’s #1 hit series ‘Tiny & Toya.’ Rumor had it that Tiny’s husband, rapper T.I., forbid her from returning to the show. “Not true,” said my source. “They didn’t ask her to come back… I don’t know why they didn’t ask her. Tiny & Toya was their number one show.”

Don’t forget to stop by Tiny’s Nail Bar on Saturday and Sunday for discount specials on nail designs and pedicures! Tiny’s Nail Bar is located at 3540 Walt Stephens Road in Stockbridge, Georgia, about 15 miles southeast of Atlanta.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Young Jeezy at The Velvet Room

NBA superstars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and rapper Young Jeezy partied at the Velvet Room in Tucker, Georgia (a suburb of Atlanta) on Sunday, the night before the big game between the Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena yesterday. Unfortunately, the Hawks didn’t have an answer for the best front court line-up in NBA history. The Hawks lost 98-80.

Alex Gidewon of AG Entertainment, 2nd from right, with LeBron, far left, D Wade and Jeezy, was able to pull of a coup by bringing all 3 superstars to the Velvet Room on Sunday night. A local nightclub almost went to court to prevent this party from happening. The local Decatur Flavors almost lost their minds when they saw the combined sexiness of the NBA ballers and the Snowman walk into the Velvet Room together!

Dwyane Wade wearing skinny jeans with his Louis Vuitton sneakers is just so…

New Couple Alert: Lil Wayne and his Stylist at Compound *Updated*

It was a madhouse in Atlanta this weekend when Lil Wayne’s ‘I Am Music II’ Tour featuring Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross rolled into the Philips Arena. The Louis Vuitton store at Lenox Mall was packed as ballers of every stripe bought out the men’s section. Even though the concert wasn’t sold out, the house was rocking with crazed Lil Wayne and Nicki fans.

After the concert, AG Entertainment threw a bash for Lil Wayne, who arrived with a new woman his stylist on his arm. I have no clue who this chick is, but she’s definitely much older than he is. She also looks like she’s led a very hard life filled with alcohol and street drugs.

Update:

The woman in the picture with Lil Wayne is his stylist, Marisa Flores. I know this because she’s having a fit on Twitter.com right now. Not so much because I misidentified her as Wayne’s new bust down, but because my readers are going in on her.

Marisa looks rather young in her Twitter profile. I’m still not convinced it’s her, even though she’s saying it is. To be fair, she might have been drunk (or high), and everyone knows that pouring a liter of Grey Goose in you will age you by 10 years in one night. So I humbly apologize to Marisa Flores, Lil Wayne’s stylist. They are not a couple — but it does look like they’ve been getting it in.

Even when Lil wayne showed mad love to a young Mexican fan, the older woman his stylist didn’t blink an eye. Although she did keep a very close watch on him.

My spies tell me that Weezy and his Cougar rarely left each other’s side in the VIP all night long. When they left Compound around 3 a.m. the couple were arm in arm and they seemed very much in love.

Oh, by the way, all of Lil Wayne’s baby moms (except Lauren London) attended the concert hoping to catch his eye. I’m told they were not happy that Weezy was giving all his attention to his new chick and not them. Toya, who is engaged to be married to MempHitz, didn’t seem to care. But they say that Sarah, the mother of his oldest son, 2-year-old Dwayne III, was tripping hard.

I’ll post more pics in the next post. You can also visit ATLpics.net for more pics!
