Denise Vasi, Eve and LisaRaye on the set of ‘Single Ladies’
Rapper-turned-actress, Eve, returns as a guest star on the upcoming season of VH1′s ‘Single Ladies’. The 2nd season began shooting on location in Atlanta this week. Eve tweeted the above photo from the set where she poses with newcomer Denise Vasi, left, and LisaRay McCoy, right. All 3 ladies look hawt!
Rumor has it that Vasi’s ‘Single Ladies‘ character, Raquel, will play a bisexual who has the hawts for LisaRaye’s character on Season 2. We hope the rumors are true!
Here’s what Denise had to say about her character, Raquel:
“Raquel is going to come back and stir the pot in a different way and bring some exciting new energy. We don’t wanna say too much.”

Savannah Shows Off Her 10 Carat Engagement Rock
Less than 24 hours after accepting LeBron James’ proposal, Savannah Brinson sat at courtside in the American Airlines Arena watching her man’s team, the Miami Heat, rout the hapless Charlotte Bobcats 129-90. Savannah, mother of LeBron’s two boys, showed off her sparkling, heart shaped 10 carat ring to friends and fans during the game. She was overwhelmed with joy after waiting 8 years for LeBron to pop the question.
Meanwhile, on the court, it was easy to see that LeBron’s mind was elsewhere. He scored only 1 point in the first quarter. But James picked his game up in the 2nd half to finish with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

LeBron James Proposes To Savannah Brinson
NBA star LeBron James brought in the New Year with a bang by proposing to his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, tonight, according to a tweet by radio host Angela Yee.
Yee updated her tweet with an Instagram photo showing an emotional Savannah accepting a ring from LeBron, who popped the question during dinner at the SL nightclub in Miami.
LeBron, 27, and Savannah, 26, have two boys together, Bronny, 7, and Bryce, 4. The family moved into a $9 million mansion in Coconut Grove, a suburb of Miami, after LeBron signed as a free agent with the Miami Heat in 2010.
In recent months, Savannah made a noticeable transition from the sweet, demure, wholesome girl that LeBron had crushed on as a star high school jock in Ohio. Savannah began to act out in public by wearing revealing, provocative clothing.
Most recently, Savannah had tongues wagging when she tweeted a pic of herself attending a Miami Heat game wearing an eye-catching black miniskirt. I guess all that acting out worked: LeBron proposed 3 days later.

Adele Loses Weight – and Her Golden Voice
British singer Adele tweeted this pic on her official Twitter page yesterday. When Adele was riding high, her Twitter page was maintained by her record label. But Adele took it over now that she has nothing else better to do after having throat surgery.
Adele’s critically acclaimed 2nd studio album, 21, is the one of the biggest-selling albums of the decade. But don’t look for another album from Adele for at least a couple of years.
Adele’s signature vocals is unnatural for her and puts a strain on her golden pipes, causing bleeding inside her vocal cords.
Surgical intervention for vocal cord hemorrhage is usually the last resort when nothing else will stop the bleeding. This means Adele is susceptible to future episodes of vocal cord bleeding. She must either alter the way she sings or she will never sing again.
Tamar Braxton performs Gladys Knight Tribute on Soul Train 2011
I remember the first time I met the Braxton Sisters, the singing siblings of superstar Toni Braxton. The chance meeting occurred in a hotel suite in Charlotte, NC in 1996. I was there to shoot a music conference for VIBE magazine, and I bumped into LA Reid’s brother, Bryant Reid, in the hotel lobby.
At the time Bryant was managing the Braxton Sisters, so he paid me to shoot a party he was having for the girls in his suite that night.
The picture on the right is one that I took in 1996. At the time, the group consisted of Towanda, left, and teenagers Tamar, 19, center, and Trina, 17. They had just released an album, titled So Many Ways, on Atlantic Records.
Last night, BET aired Soul Train Awards 2011 which was pre-taped in Atlanta on Nov. 17. Tamar was the highlight of the night as she sang a rousing tribute to Soul legend Gladys Knight, with Dave Hollister, Kenny Lattimore and Freddie Jackson backing Tamar up as the honorary Pips for the night.
Tamar’s performance surprised and electrified social networking sites like Twitter.com, where users compared her sultry vocals to her sister Toni Braxton, and even Beyonce!
