Besties Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were seen shopping at “FAO Schwarz” in New York City today, while the paparazzi fought for position outside. Needless to say, Kim and Kanye are enjoying the attention as they had a private time to play on big Piano Mat in a store.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: 2 Narcissists in Love?
Not for one minute do I believe that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are really dating. But the rumor does make for interesting blog fodder.
According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye were seen leaving a movie theater together in NYC yesterday. I guess that amounts to a romance in the celebrity world. But in the real world, their “date” is a mere publicity stunt contrived by two narcissists to grab headlines.
Coincidentally, their “date” occurred on the same day (at the very hour) that Kanye dropped a new, disjointed, uptempo tune called “Theraflu” — in which he proclaims his “love” for the self-obsessed reality star.

Mary J Blige Blasts Burger King for Racist Ad
9 time Grammy winner Mary J Blige thinks Burger King knew exactly what they were doing when they posted an unfinished television commercial on YouTube last week.
The commercial featured a cartoonish Blige, 41, standing on a table top singing the praises of Burger King’s crispy fried chicken wraps and all its toppings.
Mary’s fans reacted with fury across all social networking platforms when the ad was released. But Mary tells TMZ.com she never signed off on the ad that sparked outrage on Twitter.com for its stereotyping of blacks and fried chicken.
Mary J. tells TMZ, “I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that’s not what was happening in that clip.”
Burger King yanked the ad from its YouTube channel, claiming the racist ad was released prematurely “before all of the licensing and final approvals were obtained.” But that excuse doesn’t hold water for Mary.
Mary tells TMZ, “I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out.”
Burger King has since apologized to Mary, and they say a new, completed version of the controversial ad will be released soon.
Escape from New York Sequel or a warning from Al-Qaeda?
Is a movie poster-style online graphic really just a marketing ploy for a sequel to the 1981 cult classic film ‘Escape from NY‘? Or is it really a warning from Al-Qaeda that they have bigger plans for the big apple than 9/11?
According to Yahoo News, via the Associated Press, a mock movie poster surfaced on a website warning al-Qaida plans to return to New York City, but the NYPD says they are convinced that it’s an actual threat.
I wonder what it would take to convince the NYPD of a serious threat from Al-Qaeda?
The feds — more specifically, Homeland Security — are all over the movie poster warning. The feds aren’t taking any chances. They are monitoring the Arab-language website for any other signs of apocalyptic-style warnings.
Ray J sitting on ‘a ton of’ Whitney Houston sex tapes
Pseudo-singer Ray J is supposedly so torn up over the tragic passing of his meal ticket Whitney Houston that he is seeking therapy. But that hasn’t stopped the scum bag from dropping subtle hints that he may be sitting on a treasure trove of sex tapes and nude photos featuring Whitney.
Ray J is sitting on “a ton of sexually explicit photos and videos” starring he and the late Whitney Houston, an insider exclusively tells this week’s edition of Star magazine.
The Houston family has “been in contact with Ray and told him they do not want any photos or videos painting her in a bad light to come out,” the source said, adding the famous family “explained to Ray that now is the time to honor Whitney, not drag her legacy down.”
The insider said the younger brother of singer Brandy has “been stalling” to sell, or hand them over, them to Whitney’s family “because he knows he’s sitting on a gold mine.”
The late Houston “adored” Ray J, the insider said of the the hip-hop hunk, whose name is synonymous with his 2007 sex tape with Kim Kardashian.
The late singer, who dated the 31-year-old stud on and off in her final years, “loved doting on him and would have done anything he asked — including making a sex tape,” the insider said. Source
Ray J is probably lying about the existence of sex tapes. Unlike Kim Kardashian, Whitney was too smart to let him film her in the act — if she even allowed that rat to touch her. But it just shows the lengths that this attention whore will go to to keep his name in the news.
Sports: Jeremy Lin and immature J.R. Smith sink the NY Knicks
“Linsanity” has faded and some semblance of normalcy has returned to Madison Square in Times Square where the NY Knicks (18-23) are coming off a 5-game losing streak.
Yesterday, the division leading Philadelphia 76ers routed the NY Knickerbockers 106-94 at the Garden. But the chants of “Fire D’Antoni” began even before the final minute ticked off the clock. In a controversial move, the Knicks embattled coach Mike D’Antoni benched his superstars, Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire for the entire 4th quarter in favor of his 2nd unit led by his struggling starting point guard Jeremy Lin and the problem child J.R. Smith.
The baby faced Asian-American Harvard grad was hailed as the Knicks savior when he came off the bench to spark a 7-game winning streak back in February. But even as the gullible NY media went into a feeding frenzy of biblical proportions — cooler heads realized that Lin was simply a flash-in-the pan.
The media was looking for a ratings boost, and they hoped that non-sports fans wouldn’t notice that Lin and the rejuvenated Knicks were playing against mediocre sub .500 teams.
The only worthy opponent the Knicks faced during that 7-game win streak was the Los Angeles Lakers, who had an off night because their self-centered superstar Kobe Bryant is less concerned with winning and more concerned with chasing NBA records.
