Celebs Out & About: Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, Usher, Serena Williams, Tyra Banks
Alicia Keys and musician Swizz Beatz attended the Keep A Child Alive’s 8th annual Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom last night in New York City. It’s just a matter of time.

Media personality La La Anthony, who attended the ball with husband, Carmelo Anthony, looked like something was weighing heavily on her mind.
Celebs Out & About: Ciara, Nicki Minaj, Queen Latifah, Tamar Braxton
Disappointment showed on singer singer Ciara’s face as she watched her bestie Serena Williams lose in spectacular fashion to Australian tennis player Samantha Stosur at Arthur Ashe stadium in the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center yesterday, in Flushing, Queens.
Nicki Minaj was photographed outside Lincoln Center where she attended the NYC Fashion Week shows. I have nothing else.

Celebs Out & about: Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Ice T, Coco, Ron Artest
A depressed Rihanna was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant with no makeup on in Santa Monica, California yesterday. Rihanna was wearing a gold necklace with the word “C*NT” engraved on it. At least she knows what she likes.
Celebs Out & About: Queen Latifah, Stevie Wonder
Foxy lady Queen Latifah made an appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ with host Robin Roberts to promote her clothing collection for HSN yesterday in New York City. The chick on the far right is Queen Latifah’s longtime assistant, LaWanda “LB” Black. Apparently, both women share the same taste in expensive watches. On a recent trip to Atlanta the ladies stopped by a high end jewelry boutique and picked up matching $25,000 watches. I can’t go into details on how I know all of this. But let’s just say my source is very credible. In fact, she kept insisting that I knew who “LB” was, despite my repeated denials. Does Queen Latifah look great or what? Who else finds it interesting that Queen is following her ex, @TheMonifah, on Twitter? That’s them pictured below during happier times when they always color-coordinated their outfits.
In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies & BBQ Wives Season Finale’s
Last night’s final episode of VH1′s “Single Ladies” went out with a bang after limping through scenes that looked like they were thrown together at the last minute.
The final episode aired amid rumors that the show’s star, Stacey Dash, was fired by executive producer Queen Latifah weeks ago. Those rumors tie in with reports that surfaced before the season premiere about Dash falling out with her SL co-star LisaRaye McCoy.
Dash didn’t address the rumors on her Twitter page last night. But she did urge her 145,000 followers to tune into the show’s final.

Queen Latifah: ‘It doesn’t matter to me what the blogs are writing’
Former rapper and aspiring media mogul Queen Latifah recently sat down with Sister 2 Sister magazine’s Jamie Foster Brown for an in-depth interview. We love Jamie, but her interviews can be tedious at times. Jamie always plays it safe and she never asks the right questions, such as “Let’s discuss those rumors about your break up with your longtime lover, Jeanette Jenkins.”
Queen Latifah did touch on her love/hate relationship with social media, saying “It can be very overwhelming, but it can also be great for business.”
As for her stance on bloggers, in particular, the 44-year-old executive producer of VH1′s “Single Ladies” stopped just short of calling bloggers bullies.
“The thing about social media is there are a lot of people who felt voiceless,” she said. “Now, they have a voice, and some people will just say anything for shock value.”
Queen Latifah reveals what she looks for in a woman

Queen Latifah, who is slowly adapting to life outside the closet, recently sat down with Sister2Sister magazine for an in-depth interview.
The Queen discussed what she looks for in a woman, and we’re not surprised to learn that she prefers her women covered up.
“I just like ladies who have class. Period,” she said, “and if it’s ‘T and A’ you’re sellin,’ that’s fine, as long as that’s what you’re selling. But you don’t have to show everything, you know?”
She added:
“You can hold some back and just be yourself and let your personality shine and let your individuality show. To me, that’s sexier. A confident woman is a sexy woman, in my opinion. And I think guys find that to be the same way.”
