Editor of Magazine that called Rihanna a Ni**ab*tch Resigns

The editor-in-chief of Jackie magazine, which referred to troubled singer Rihanna as a “Niggabitch”, has stepped down.
Eva Hoeke cited the relentless attacks from Rihanna’s Stans on social media as the reason for her departure. She explained that she used the term “Niggabitch” to describe the ultra slutty personal style that was influenced by Rihanna herself. Hoeke points out that the term was imported from America where we in the black community routinely use “nigga” and “bitch” as terms of endearment.
But since when does a journalist (or blogger) let Stans influence what they write? The article obviously was not a personal attack on Rihanna. Oh, I forgot, Freedom of Speech is only upheld as a constitutional right here in America.
If Rihanna wants respect maybe she should start by respecting herself?
Eva writes:
Because of the enormous pressure from social media, I can promise improvement in terms of language used in future issues of Jackie.
Previously, I offered rectification. As I now come to the conclusion that rectification is not the right solution, I am departing.
“The term ‘nigga bitch” has come over from America and we have only this to describe this particular style of clothes that we can try to interpret.
“After eight years, with my heart and soul, I have worked for Jackie. I realize that these errors – although no malicious intent – is a reason to leave.”

Magazine to Rihanna: ‘We thought you people liked being called the N-word’

A Dutch magazine is catching heat for publishing an article calling Rihanna a “nigga bitch” — words the troubled singer has used to refer to herself in the past.
The Parlourmagazine.com article also stated that Rihanna was from Jamaica — an insult of the highest order to Barbadians who think they’re above Jamaicans.
Rihanna’s fans inundated the magazine’s office with emails, phone calls and online messages expressing their outrage. Rihanna, who was alerted to the magazine’s content by her Twitter followers, reacted with a series of angry tweets on her Twitter.com page.
“I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful and rather desperate!! You ran out of legit, civilized information to print!” she wrote on Twitter.
“There are 1000′s of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race! That’s your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past! You put two words together, with the intent of abasement, that made no sense … ‘N—a Bitch’?!….Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you … F— YOU!!!” Source
The magazine’s embarrassed editor took to Facebook to apologize profusely to the singer and her fans. Editor-in-chief, Eva Hoeke, wrote: “First: thanks for all your responses. We are of course very fed up over this and especially very shocked. However I’m glad that we’re engaging in a dialogue on this page — not everybody does that. Thanks for this. Other than that I can be brief about this: this should have never happened. Period.”
Hoeke also implied that the racist insults toward Rihanna were meant as a joke, especially since Rihanna, and blacks in general, use the most degrading terms when referring to ourselves.
Rihanna Stumbling Drunk and Vomiting During Concert (Video)

It’s still a mystery to me why anyone would spend their rent money on a ticket to watch a goat sing.
While performing her hit single “What’s My Name,” in Lisbon over the weekend, 23-year-old Rihanna forgot the lyrics to her own song, and slurred some of her words. At about the 1:32 mark, Rihanna gestured to someone in the audience indicating that she was about to hurl.
Moments later Rihanna disappeared into the darkness off the side of the stage. Rumors began to swirl almost immediately on Twitter that the singer was stumbling drunk and vomiting during her concert. Later that night, Rihanna took to her Twitter page and admitted that she did indeed throw up the contents of her stomach offstage, which consisted of a half eaten hot dog and about a quart of alcohol.

We broke the story months ago that Rihanna’s record label was concerned about Rihanna’s drinking and rumored substance abuse problems. Sources say Rihanna has been on and off the wagon in the past month as she deals with her personal issues, including chasing after a man who is already in a long term relationship.
Celebs Out & About: Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Crow, Rihanna
Troubled singer Rihanna, 23, was spotted out & about in Milan, Italy on Monday. The singer is reportedly depressed over the poor sales of her album, Talk That Talk, in the U.S. Although the CD sold over 300K in Europe in the first week, she has only managed to sell a total of 290K copies of TTT in the U.S. in the 3 weeks since it was released. Poor RiRi can’t sell 300K in the U.S. even though she has over 10 million followers on Twitter.com. Rihanna was recently overheard saying “I need a drink” after the blogs reported on her latest flare up with one of her followers who asked her something about Chris Brown. But Rihanna has been placed on notice by her label that if she gets drunk in public one more time, they will cut off her video budget for her album, which isn’t selling anyway.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan blew off an appearance on Ellen Degeneres’ show today, but she was spotted last night attending Jay Z and Kanye West’s WTT concert at the Staples Center with her baby sister Ali Lohan in Los Angeles. Lindsay was on time for her progress hearing early this morning. According to TMZ.com, Judge Stephanie Sautner began by saying, “Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work.”
The judge noted Lindsay actually completed her 12 days of community service early. And she went to an extra therapy session — 5 instead of the required 4. The judge also said the morgue was pleased by the work Lindsay has done there “at least as pleased as a morgue can be.”

Morning Glory: Rihanna
Egotastic.com found these previously unreleased shots of Rihanna’s under boobs taken during her GQ magazine January shoot. We wonder why GQ didn’t release these photos from the shoot earlier? It’s not like they were protecting Rihanna’s virtue or morals because she has none. Rihanna has always been a slut. We just didn’t know it because she hid that side of herself very well.

Rihanna’s ‘Talk That Talk’ On Pace to Sell 200K

It looks like Rihanna’s latest studio effort is on its way to tanking big time. Compared to Drake’s 1st week sales of 659K for his 2nd album, Take Care, RiRi’s Talk That Talk is only expected to sell 180-200K in the first week.
That has to be a major disappointment for the Bajan superstar who has over 9 million followers on Twitter.com.
According to HITS Daily Double, the pop princess’ latest Talk That Talk, featuring the chart-topping single “We Found Love,” is on track to sell 180-200,000 copies in its first week based on early estimates. Her previous effort LOUD opened with 207,000 in November 2010.
Mary J. Blige will also return to the charts with My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I). The sequel to her 1994 classic My Life is poised to move 120-140,000 units in week one. The R&B veteran’s 2009 album Stronger withEach Tear debuted at No. 2 with 332,000. Source
Rihanna Performs “We Found Love” Live On X-Factor

Troubled singer Rihanna, 23, performed her hit single, “We Found Love”, on The X-Factor last night. Actually, she lip synced the song while about 15 dancers writhed at her feet. It was a bizarre, lazy performance by the shock princess who sounded like a strangled cat singing over the backing track.
At one point, towards the end of her performance, Rihanna mistakenly lowered the mic while her backing track was still playing. It was a spectacularly unprofessional mistake that caused many Twitter.com users to wonder if the Bajan superstar was drunk.
