The-Dream: Rihanna Wanted Chris Brown On “Birthday Cake”
My loyal readers already knew this, but Rihanna’s producer, The-Dream, has confirmed that Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” remix with Chris Brown on the track was her idea.
The-Dream tells MTV’s Sway that he was driving alone in his car when he got the surprising call from Rihanna.
“I think I’m gonna put Chris on it,” he remembers Rihanna saying to him over the phone. “I don’t know which Chris you talkin’ about, [but] OK, cool, whatever you say,” The-Dream responded.
“At the end of the day, she’s my friend, so whatever she wants to do is whatever she wants to do,” The-Dream told Sway

Kim Kardashian wins settlement against blogger; shut down blog
Reality maven Kim Kardashian won a civil settlement against her former publicist, celebrity blogger Jonathan Jaxson — barring him from spilling any more teas about her.
On Wednesday, the 31-year-old E! star’s lawyers issued a statement to Us Weekly, saying: “Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson. . .Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter.”
It’s highly unlikely that their settlement includes any monetary damages — since Jaxson doesn’t have any money. It more than likely includes language ordering Jaxson to keep his mouth shut — or else.
According to US magazine, As part of the settlement, Jaxson issued a public apology on his official website. “I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian,” Jaxson wrote. “I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim’s relationship with Kris.”
Jaxson’s official website is no longer online, probably per the settlement agreement.
Despite Kardashian’s denials, there is no doubt that Jaxson once worked for Kardashian. There are videos and photos online of them together during happier times… if you feel like searching.
Plus, back in 2007, I met Jaxson at a party that I was hired to shoot for one of his clients (a Soap star whose name I can’t recall). Jaxson was your typical loose cannon who could not stop dishing the dirt about his other clients — Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian.
Hopefully, Jaxson has learned his lesson to stop running his mouth so much and save all his dirt for a book… like I’m doing.
Karrueche wants Chris Brown and Rihanna to know that…

I tried to warn Karrueche through her closest friends, but she wouldn’t listen to them. Now they say she’s depressed and taking sedatives to mask her pain, so she can sleep at night.
Chris jetted Karrueche to Miami for Valentine’s Day — the same day he was seen creeping with Lil Wayne’s baby mama, Sarah ViVan, who flew to Los Angeles from Atlanta to “hang out” with CB.
Now Karrueche is the laughing stock of the industry after Rihanna took Chris Brown back — and totally disrespect his lover on her “Birthday Cake” remix. Sources say Rihanna made CB disrespect Karrueche to force him to prove his love to her — and CB didn’t hesitate.

Rihanna Mobbed by Fans and Paparazzi in London
Singer Rihanna, 24, was mobbed by adoring fans and paparazzi in London, England earlier today as she made her way from her hotel to the Brit Awards at 02 Arena. Less than 24 hours ago Rihanna released her much-anticipated single, “Birthday Cake” featuring her abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown, on the track.
Rihanna’s record label, Def Jam, and her management at Roc Nation, are reportedly upset that Rihanna released the track without their blessings. But Rihanna fought for Brown’s vocals to remain on the track, despite the controversy surrounding his feature. And in the end, she won.
A source close to Rihanna’s camp says RiRi is a “new woman” now that the world knows she is in love with Brown again. “You’ll be seeing a different side of her,” said a source who begged for anonymity.
“[Rihanna] wants to show Chris — and the world — that she’s changed,” said my source. “No more public intoxication, no more acting out, just good music,” she added.
We’ll see.
