Grammy Awards Red Carpet: Rihanna and Kelly Rowland

Singer Kelly Rowland lost points when she cheesed and grinned at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy dinner at the same hotel where Whitney Houston’s body lay in rigor mortis Saturday. But she looked glamorous on Sunday wearing a nude Alberta Ferretti gown at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

Rihanna turned heads wearing a Giorgio Armani black silk custom gown which she accessorized with Christian Louboution PVC accented pumps and a gold clutch. Rihanna shared her big night with her father and her little brother.

In Case You Missed It: Chris Brown performs on Grammys

Troubled singer Chris Brown lip synced during the 54th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center for the first time since beating the crap out of his former girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009.

Brown’s performance was made possible by a sympathetic judge who lifted his restraining order last year at the request of Rihanna’s legal team. Brown lip synced a techno junk medley of his songs “Turn Up The Music” and “Beautiful People” much to the delight of his fans who squealed when he came out onstage in tight grey skinny jeans.

CNN’s Roland Martin Under Attack From Gay Groups for David Beckham Tweets

CNN’s political analyst Roland Martin came under attack from gay groups after tweeting a wisecrack about British soccer star David Beckham.

Martin, who is very sensitive when he is the subject of gay jokes, took to his Twitter page last night to “live tweet” during the Super Bowl broadcast. His tweets included this one, which his followers took to be an anti-gay slur:

Martin seemed to suggest that his followers “smack the ish out of” any male Super Bowl fan who is “hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad” that was shown during the Super Bowl.

Martin added that “real bruhs” would not purchase underwear advertised by Beckham.

Kanye West’s Super Bowl Ad; Plus, Banned Durex Condom Ad

Super Bowl 46 was viewed by over 111 million worldwide on Sunday. The 2012 Super Bowl commercials fetched an average of $3.5 million for each 30-second spot. Music producer and rapper Kanye West pocketed some change from one of those spots: Budweiser’s Bud Light Platinum ad, which featured the intro from Kanye’s track “Runaway” off of his platinum album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Watch the Bud Light SB ad after the break, plus the banned Durex condom Super Bowl commercial that you never got the chance to see (and I wish I didn’t see).

In Case You Missed It: Super Bowl XLVI (Highlights)

Some are calling Super Bowl 46 the greatest in Super Bowl history. It was certainly the first Super Bowl in recent memory where the commercials didn’t upstage the game on the field. (This year’s commercials were too numerous and too boring to remember.)

Super Bowl 46 was the 2nd meeting of the NY Giants and the New England Patriots, and the 2nd time the Giants came out on top. It was also the first (and probably the last) super bowl for hapless wide receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson whose off-the-field antics didn’t endear him to NE coach Tom Belichick.

It’s almost certain that Belichick will unload Ochocinco after spending $6 million on him in a trade with the Bengals. No team will sign Ochocinco which will give him more time to plan his fake wedding to reality TV star Evelyn Lozada this Summer. Ocho and Evelyn had better take note of the fallout from Kim Kardashian and Kris Humprhies’ fake made-for-TV wedding, which didn’t go over well with the fans.

Watch the highlights from Super Bowl XLVI after the break!
