In Case You Missed It: The Game, Episode 4
Last night’s episode of BET’s sports-themed scripted series “The Game” was saved from a sure disaster by the superb acting talents of Brandy Norwood (Chardonnay), Wendy Raquel Robinson (Tasha Mack) and Coby Bell (Jason Pitts).
Jason, who married Chardonnay in a drunken stupor the day after they met, discovers that she has not paid back $80,000 in student loans. Fearing that Chardonnay has more to hide, he makes the decision to lie to her about getting a vasectomy. Chardonnay, who desperately wants a child to complete her as a woman, suspects that Jason is lying to her — and she sets about to confirm her suspicions in her own inimitable way.
In case You Missed It: The Game, Episode 3
Sports manager Tasha Mack (Wendy Raquel Robinson) revealed her inner hoochie in last night’s episode. Tasha struggled to juggle 2 sexy men, Rick Fox (playing himself) and Pookie (Rockmond Dunbar), who flew into town just to check on Tasha because she sounded sad on the phone. Now that’s love.
Later, after a night out with Pookie, Tasha returns to her room to find flowers sent by Fox. She tells Fox she can’t be with him because she “loves” Pookie. Yet her actions (the true test of love) betrayed her words. True Love is expressed through actions, not words. A woman can tell you she loves you all day long. But her actions will determine if she’s telling the truth.

In Case You Missed It: The Game, Season 6, Episodes 1 and 2
Last night, BET aired the 100th episode of its comedy-drama scripted series The Game. Created by Mara Brock Akil and produced by Kelsey Grammer, The Game follows a promiscuous star quarterback of a mythical NFL team, Malik Wright (Hosea Chanchez), and his controlling mo-manager Tasha Wright (Wendy Raquel Robinson).
Their supporting cast of characters have changed numerous times over the course of 5 seasons. But last season’s unexpected terminations were the unkindest cuts of all.
Gone are the mythical team’s star wide receiver, Derwin Davis (Pooch Hall) and his devoted, though annoying, doctor wife Melanie Davis (Tia Mowry-Hardrict). Hall’s final appearance on last night’s show made a lasting impression. He acted his ass off; showing raw emotion, pain, anger, rage and defeat after learning he was traded for a corny, younger version of himself.
In Case You Missed It: Justin Timberlake, Jay Z on SNL
Justin Timberlake doesn’t get it; his tune with Jay Z, “Suit and Tie”, really does suck. During his appearance on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, Timberlake performed the R&B track with a full back up band and chorus. None of that helped to improve the audience response to the weak song. So when Timberlake dragged Jay Z, 50, onstage for a duet, the crowd went nuts.
During a recent concert in London, Kanye, 35, dissed his former friend Jay Z in a freestyle. “Remind me again who’s the original Superfly. Man, I got love for Hov but I ain’t f*cking with dat Suit and Tie”, he rapped.
Timberlake seemed to clap back at Kanye with a jab of his own during his duet with Jay Z. “Got a hit so sick got rappers acting dramatic,” rapped Timberlake, changing the lyrics of the song.

Video: Law & Order SVU Kills Off Rihanna
In another case of art imitating life, NBC is set to air a controversial episode of Law & Order: SVU titled “My Funny Valentine”, about an abusive celebrity who beats his girlfriend to death.
It’s not a stretch to figure out who the characters are portraying in real life. It’s just a matter of when will Rihanna end up like the character in the SVU episode.

Media Megastars Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry have joined forces to bring America 2 new scripted TV shows featuring a cast of Black actors. That’s good news for all of us as Tyler and Oprah provide jobs that stimulate the local economy. Good for them! Last night Tyler leaked a sneak peek video on his Facebook page. Hoax: Eagle Snatching Baby Video Confirmed Fake
UPDATE: The sleuths over at Gawker.com debunked the viral video of an eagle snatching a baby. The baby is a rag doll and the bird is not even an eagle, it’s a falcon.
Statement by renowned bird expert Kenn Kaufman:
“‘A golden eagle tries to snatch a baby in Montreal,’ and the video goes viral. But it’s faked. Golden Eagle is a scarce visitor in the Montreal area, but the bird in the video is not a Golden Eagle, nor anything else that occurs in the wild in North America. This was clearly a setup: using a falconer’s bird, and probably a fake toddler for the distant scene. With all the ignorance about nature that’s out there already, the last thing we need is this kind of stupid garbage.”
