Celebs Out & About: Nicki Minaj, Ray J
Shopping an tearing up the mall can be tiring. Cartoon rapper Nicki Minaj, 29, was spotted doing some high end, pre-Grammy shopping in Beverly Hills, CA, yesterday. The Pink Friday rapper did some heavy retail therapy at Chanel and Giuseppe Zanotti shoe stores. She was seen wearing a pink wig carrying shopping bags to her matching pink Bentley. Nicki paused to make sure the paparazzi snapped pics of her handing out stacks of cash to a valet attendant and a homeless man as well.

Brandy’s brother Ray J was seen at The Grove in West Hollywood yesterday promoting his new semi-autobiographical book titled Death Of The Cheating Man: What Every Woman Must Know About Men Who Stray. Ray J, who didn’t actually pen the book himself, follows in the footsteps of comedian Steve Harvey, whose self-help manual on cheating men was a best-seller.

Ciara Interviews New England Patriots Players During SB 46 Media Day
The excitement is building as football fans await the kickoff of Super Bowl 46 on Sunday. Songstress Ciara was given the enviable job of interviewing the New England Patriots players on the field during the 2012 Super Bowl Media Day in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ciara conducted interviews with the Patriots players for ‘The Insider’ sports show with Kevin Frazier. Ciara got real friendly with NE safety Sergio Brown (#31). You can tell Ciara took her job very seriously. She wore quarterback Tom Brady’s jersey number. Isn’t she cute? Unfortunately, NE doesn’t have a chance against the odds-on favorites, the NY Giants. But it should be a good game for NE fans. It’s not who wins or loses, but how they play the game.

Programming Note: Basketball Wives Special Livestream Event From Miami

All week VH1 has been teasing the Basketball Wives Facebook followers about a special event coming Thursday involving the cast of the ‘Basketball Wives‘ (the boring Miami crew, not the LA cast).
And, maybe due to that fact, VH1 didn’t get much of a response to the teasers on facebook.
See what the BIG NEWS is after the break.
PICS: The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live! and After party
Troubled musician Kanye West leads the Grammy Award nominations with 7, but the bad boy producer was a no-show at last night’s live concert warmup to the 2012 Grammy’s in February.
While Kanye’s hit all-star single, “All of the Lights,” was nominated for Song of the Year, his critically acclaimed album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which featured ‘Lights’, was snubbed in the Best Album category.
But Bon Iver, who was a complete stranger to many of us before collaborating with Kanye on MBDTF, was nominated for 4 Grammy’s, including Song of the Year — which Kanye is also nominated for — and Record of the Year, which we assume is different from Song of the Year.
Fading rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J, 43, (pictured above) attended the concert after party with his long-suffering buxom wife, Simone Smith. I bet she has a lot of stories to tell, such as why LL Cool J is bleaching his skin when he’s already a light alabaster color. Or why he still calls himself “Ladies Love” Cool J, when they don’t.
