Bobbi Kristina: I Don’t Want My Dad’s First Or Last Name

Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina doesn’t think much of R&B singer Bobby Brown as a father. In fact, she despises him so much that she wants nothing to do with his first or last name.
According to TMZ.com, Bobbi K. wanted to change her name to “Kristina Houston” when her parents filed for divorce in 2000, but her mother talked her out of it. Now that Whitney has passed away, the 19-year-old will go ahead with her plans to sever all connections to her father.
According to TMZ.com, the last straw came when Brown made a scene at his ex-wife’s funeral last month over seating arrangements for his entourage of 9 — including his 4 children by past relationships.
Bobbi K. reportedly made the decision with a sober mind and is in a “better place” than she’s been in a while.
Whitney’s sister-in-law named executor of her will
When pop icon Whitney Houston passed away tragically on Feb. 11, insiders wondered aloud what would become of Whitney’s freeloading entourage. More specifically, they wondered whether Whitney’s brother Gary Houston and his wife Pat would be forced to get jobs to support themselves.
That question was answered yesterday when a judge named Whitney’s sister-in-law, Pat, as executor of her will. (Normally, an attorney is named as executor). That means Pat, who is only related to Whitney by name, will continue to reap the financial benefits of Whitney’s fortune. And, by extension, Gary will make out quite nicely since he’s married to Pat.
In the above photo, Pat is seen walking behind Whitney as she left a Beverly Hills doctor’s office on Feb. 7, after picking up a prescription. As you know, Whitney died of a prescription drug overdose at age 48 a few days later.
Dionne Warwick calls Whitney ‘the little girl I never had’; and Bobbi K. didn’t get everything
R&B legend Dionne Warwick was a guest on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ this morning. Speaking to GMA host Robin Roberts, Warwick said her cousin, the late singer Whitney Houston “basically was the little girl I never had.”
Warwick, 71, said she spoke with Whitney the day she died, and that Whitney was in a good mood as she prepared to host the pre-Grammy party held annually by recording honcho Clive Davis.
“She had everything in the world to live for,” said Warwick. “She had a new film, that was an absolute dream to make and do, and completed that, thank God. She was getting ready to go back into the studio to record, she was getting her vocals together.
“It’s very surreal,” Warwick said. “It hasn’t really sunk in yet … I have not had an opportunity to really mourn or completely break down, which I will do, I know that.”
In her last Will and Testament, Whitney left all of her “tangible property” including furniture, cars, jewelry, clothing and shoes to her “surviving children,” — Bobbi Kristina.
Sneak Peek: Oprah interviews Bobbi Kristina
Oprah gives viewers a sneak preview of her sit-down interview with Whitney Houston’s family; her daughter, Bobbi Kristina; her brother, Gary Houston; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Houston. The special episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” airs on Oprah’s struggling OWN Network next Sunday at 9/8c.
Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.
Although Oprah’s TV special gives the impression that Whitney’s surviving daughter, Bobbi, is doing well, the current issue of the National Enquirer (on newsstands now) tells a different story. The March 12, 2012 cover features new photos of Bobbi Kristina smoking a big bowl of weed through a bong. It’s doubtful that Oprah asked if Bobbi Kristina was going to a drug rehab anytime soon.
Watch the sneak peek video after the break.
If Jermaine Jackson did have an affair with Whitney Houston, she was one of many women
The late Pop icon Whitney Houston hasn’t been in the ground 3 weeks and already Jermaine Jackson is trying to capitalize off of her. Jermaine was one of the members of the famous 1970s sibling singing group the Jackson 5, fronted by Michael Jackson.
Tales of the older Jackson brothers bedding their groupies were legendary back in the 1970s. But Jermaine was the biggest whore of all his brothers. In his book, You are Not Alone: Michael, Through A Brother’s Eyes, released by HarperCollins last year, Jermaine mentioned Whitney and the “feelings” he had for her, but there was no mention of any romantic affair.
57-year-old Jermaine, who is seen above shopping in Malibu, CA with his third wife, Halima Rashid, has 5 children, including his sons, Jafaar, left, and Jermajesty, from his second marriage to Alejandra Jackson. Alejandra also has 2 sons by Jermaine’s younger brother, Randy.
Oprah Lands 1st Interview With Whitney Houston’s Daughter

The NY Daily News reports that struggling talk show titan Oprah has landed the first interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
According to the NY Daily News, the 18-year-old will share her “personal memories” of her mother and how she’d like her to be remembered. Oprah also sat down with Whitney’s most trusted confidants, her brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law, Pat. The interviews took place in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina once shared a townhouse with her mother.
Winfrey’s team also said the family addressed the “rumors and speculation” that have surfaced in the wake of Houston’s death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.
Houston was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her suite at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11, the night before the Grammys.
The special will air on Oprah’s OWN cable network on March 11.
Oprah’s crown has been tarnished by poor ratings and traitors who jumped ship from her failing network OWN. In the past, the media seized upon the term “Oprahfication”, to describe Oprah’s powerful influence on pop culture. But it seems that Oprah has lost her magic touch.
Oprah walked away from her syndicated talk show Oprah, in May 2011 on the advice of a terminally ill boy who told her to end her show’s successful run at an even number of years: 25.
Now, the 58-year-old media Guru is trying to save her struggling OWN network by doing more of the face-to-face interviews that made her famous.
Whitney Houston’s Death Ruled An Accident

Pop icon Whitney Houston’s sudden death will be ruled an accident, according E! News, who quoted a source with knowledge of the ongoing investigation.
E! News reports that Houston’s family always believed her death was accidental — and not as the result of a deliberate suicide attempt.
The autopsy toxicology screen could be in the Beverly Hills Police Department’s hands by next week and, depending on the status of other elements of their investigation, the case could be closed very soon afterward.
Houston, 48, was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her suite at the Beverly Hilton hotel in LA on Feb. 11. About a half dozen prescription bottles containing anti-anxiety medications, analgesics (pain meds), and the antibiotic Amoxicillin were found in Houston’s hotel room.
She was seen by a Beverly Hills doctor who treated her for a sore throat a few days before she died.
