Jeezy says the streets will ‘erupt’ if Trayvon’s killer isn’t charged

Many believe the special prosecutor assigned to the Trayvon Martin case is dragging her feet. Miami teenager Trayvon Martin has been dead for 39 days, and still his murderer hasn’t been brought to justice.

In a recent interview, rapper Young Jeezy promised a long, hot Summer of civil unrest across the country if charges aren’t brought soon.

Citing his young son as the inspiration for a new rap song about Trayvon — Jeezy said, “I feel like, you know, no justice, no peace, man.”

“For real… if you commit a crime you should be held liable for that crime until the court of law prove you innocent or guilty.”

He added:

“I think… just to ease everybody’s mind, and everybody’s tension, he should at least be charged. Now, if he beats the charges that’s a whole ‘nother situation. But what you don’t wanna do is sit here and play these games. And go back and forth about who’s in the right, who’s in the wrong. He’s a child and you’re an adult…

In what may be a subtle message to his homie in the White House — President Obama — Jeezy said: “If they handle this wrong, from the prisons to the streets the people are gonna erupt!”

In Case You Missed It: TI and Tiny: Family Hustle

Last night’s episode of VH1′s popular reality series ‘TI and Tiny: The Family Hustle’ centered around T.I.’s son, Domani, who is having difficulty getting good grades in school. In one scene T.I. calls the 10-year-old “slow” and suggests that Domani may not have gotten enough oxygen when he was born. T.I. continues teasing the boy, saying the doctors warned him that Domani “might stack blocks a little differently than other children.”

T.I. realizes that shaming his son into doing better is counterproductive because words hurt like fists. So T.I. decides to motivate Domani to learn by promising he will let Domani shoot a music video for his single, “Green Faces”, if he brings home good grades. Two weeks later, Domani brings home a report card filled with all A’s, and the video is on!

Snoop to Kris Humphries: ‘You shouldn’t have tried to wife the b*tch!’

Rapper-turned-comedian Snoop Dogg gives sound advice to hopeless romantic Kris Humphries, who followed his heart — and not his brains — when he married narcissist Kim Kardashian in a made-for-TV wedding last year.

It’s not entirely Kris’ fault. It’s a holdover from evolutionary days that some men lose all common sense when they are in the presence of a pretty woman.

In another video making the rounds on the Internet yesterday, rapper Young Jeezy, weighed in by saying he would rather die than marry a Kardashian. We’re sure he meant Kim, not Khloe.

Did Twitter Beef Lead to Shooting Death of Atlanta Man?

Police are investigating whether online “Twitter beef” led to the shooting death of a popular 25-year-old man at a Southwest Atlanta apartment complex early Sunday morning.

According to the Atlanta Journal, Kevin James Scott, 25, was shot twice in the chest by an unknown assailant and left to die in a 4th floor hallway of the City View apartments in Mechanicsville. Police responded to a 911 call at 259 Richardson Street around 3 a.m.

Scott was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

Scott was affectionately known as “Big Kevin” to his many friends and family. His brother, “Westside Chris”, is a well-known businessman and close associate of superstar rapper Jeezy.

Within hours of the shooting, friends of Scott took to the social networking site Twitter.com to tweet their condolences and to rage at the senseless violence.

His friends say Scott and a local man argued back and forth on Twitter.com just hours before his death. At one point, Scott tweeted code words revealing his location, and he seemed to taunt the man who later deleted his Twitter page.

A remembrance event will be held for Scott on Friday, Nov. 18, at Cream Bar & Bistro at 1919 B Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta, according to club promoter Tracye Bryant of KBD Entertainment. Also, a candlelight vigil will be held in his honor tomorrow night (Thursday, Nov. 16) at Mays high school.

Anyone with information about the killing is asked to contact APD at 404-546-4235 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
