A Louisiana kidnapping victim is safe at home after her family members rescued her and killed her captor.
Police say Scott Thomas, 29, of Leonville, abducted his former girlfriend, Bethany Arceneaux, 29, from a daycare center where she arrived to drop off their son on Wednesday, FOX News reports.
Police say Arceneaux exited her vehicle and was confronted by Thomas who forced her into his car and drove away, leaving their 2-year-old son behind.
Derrimetria Robinson told USA Today she was standing in the doorway of her home around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday when she saw a woman, Arceneaux, drive by honking her car horn.
She said she saw the driver park at the daycare center and run to the back passenger door of her car.
It isn’t every day that a woman loses both of her breasts due to cancer. One patient decided to make her double mastectomy surgery a happy occasion with a dance off in the operating room.
Obviously this is not normal procedure in the OR where the environment is usually staid, sterile and depressing.
But the nurses and doctors treating Deborah Cohan at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion in San Francisco ignored the rules to dance to the strains of Beyonce’s “Get Me Bodied” before Cohan went under the knife.
Despite all of his achievements, awards and record sales, Canadian rapper Drake still can’t get the respect he thinks he deserves. At issue is the continued criticism of Drake as more of a singer than a rapper.
St. Louis rapper Nelly rushed to Drake’s defense saying an artist shouldn’t be limited to just rapping.
“The guy sold damn near 800,000 the first week – so it’s a lot of fans that like Drake’s singing,” said Nelly in an interview with Vlad-TV.
“As an artist, you can’t have a stigma put on yourself as far as what you can do and what you can’t do,” Nelly continued. “You just try to be the best artist that you can be. We’re in a time right now where being an artist doesn’t limit you to rapping. It just doesn’t limit you to singing. It limits you to create. All your job is is to create good music. He’s creating good music. Fans that don’t like to hear Drake sing, then switch to the next song where he’s rapping.”

Ashley Reid took to her Twitter account to defend her mother, former TLC manager Perri “Pebbles” Reid, who was being dragged unmercifully on Twitter for an unkind portrayal of her in the TLC biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.
In defending Pebbles, Ashley reminded Chilli that her milk wasn’t clean. Chilli has long been the subject of rumors that she slept with LA Reid while he was married to Pebbles.
R&B Princess Ciara Harris is feeling maternal toward the spawn of her fiancé rapper Future Hendrix. Last night Ciara made peace with one of Future’s baby mamas.
“#MyFamily. @indiajai. @tia_treon. @thebrittni. #Honest #Love,” Ciara tweeted under one photo of herself posing with Future’s baby mama and his sisters.
In the photo Ciara wears a long red tee that barely conceals her growing baby bump. In another photo, she posed in close proximity to her onetime arch nemesis, Future’s baby mama Brittni.
It’s funny how Dopamine has the magic to soothe the savage breast.
One of Beyonce’s Stans (Stalker fan) created a petition begging her not to attend Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s upcoming wedding.
“Now we must do all in our power to stop Beyoncé from attending that god-forsaken wedding,” the Change.org petition reads. “Beyoncé should not be forced to go and sit through that torture while surrounded by the Kardashian pigs.”
