One of the greatest actors the world has ever known is dead. Robin Williams reportedly took his own life on Monday, Aug. 11, at his California home. He was 63.

"Robin Williams passed away this morning," his media representative Mara Buxbaum told CNN.

His rep tells CNN the actor suffered from severe depression. The coroner's preliminary cause of death is "suicide due to asphyxia."

Luke Grimes

Actor Luke Grimes played a heterosexual vampire in a recurring role as James in the sixth season on HBO’s “True Blood,” before quitting in December prior to the start of the final season.

Grimes’ rep initially said his departure was due to a scheduling conflict. But now the truth has been revealed: Grimes quit the popular cable TV drama because he objected to his character engaging in sexual activity with another man.

Now Grimes is facing threats of being blacklisted in Hollywood by homosexual media and entertainment executives who control a vast majority of the industry.

Actor Charged With Killing His Wife

An actor who shot his wife to death in front of their 2 young sons pleaded not guilty to murder on Wednesday.

Michael Jace, who played a police officer on TV's 'The Shield,' entered his plea through his attorneys, the NY Post reports.

April Jace, 40, had three sons, including the 2 boys she had with Michael Jace.

Tracy Morgan,Meghan Wollover attend "Don Rickles: One Night Only"

Actor, comedian Tracy Morgan is in critical condition at a New Brunswick, New Jersey hospital following a multi-car accident early Saturday.

Morgan, 45, was critically injured when a limo bus he was riding in overturned on the New Jersey turnpike following a six-car crash, NJ.com reports.

The multi-car crash left at least one person dead and several others with serious injuries, including Morgan.

A passenger in Morgan's limo, James McNair, 63, of Peekskill, N.Y., was killed when the bus flipped off the overpass and landed in a parking lot below.

Actor Charged With Killing His Wife

Actor Michael Jace, 51, is charged with murdering his wife, according to published reports.

"I shot my wife," Jace told police after calling 911 Monday night, gossip tabloid TMZ reports.

April Jace, 40, was found dead in the couple's south Los Angeles home by police at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. She was shot to death.

The couple is pictured above in a photo dated Jan. 01, 2006 at the LA Premiere Screening of his TV series The Shield, Season 5, in which he played a gay cop who struggled with his sexual preferences.

Lee Thompson Young

Lee Thompson Young, star of Disney Channel's "The Famous Jett Jackson", has committed suicide, Los Angeles Police Department confirms to People.com. He was 29.

Young’s longtime manager, Jonathan Baruch, released a statement to People:

"It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning. Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time."

TMZ reports that Young's body was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Loyal reader Bird requested today's Morning Wood featuring model/actor Redaric Williams. The 32-year-old Michigan born, 6-foot-1 actor is also an author and musician. He is best known for his role as Tyler Michaelson on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. Redaric has 7 siblings including his twin sister who is 1 minute older than him. In college he was given the nickname "Red". Don't get too excited about this one, ladies. There are rumors that he bats for the other team.
