Joan Rivers is a great comedian but sometimes her jokes miss the mark.
The 79-year-old mother-of-one is catching heat for making nasty fat jokes about respected British singer Adele during a guest appearance on Tuesday night’s Late Show with David Letterman.
Referring to Adele’s song “Rolling in the Deep”, Rivers said the new mom should change the lyrics to her hit song to “rolling in the deep fried chicken.”

Adele had her baby

British singer Adele gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, according to news reports. The 24-year-old multi-platinum singer and her partner Simon Konecki welcomed their son Friday night. Mommy and baby are healthy, and Adele is said to be “ecstatic” and “over the moon” with happiness.
Adele’s sophomore album, 21, sold over 25 million copies worldwide. The album’s theme of heartbreak and despair resonated with lonely women everywhere. Adele used her break up with her then-boyfriend as the inspiration for 21 which was released in January 2011. 21 earned Adele 6 Grammy awards, including album of the year.

Love addict Adele is pregnant with her first child. The British songbird announced the blessed event on her blog, Friday.
Adele wrote:
“I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx,” she wrote.
Adele’s broken heart from a breakup was the catalyst for her multi-platinum debut album, 21. The album sold over 22 million copies worldwide to date and continues to peak at #1 on the Billboard charts. Adele’s boyfriend, Simon Konecki, runs the water charity Drop4Drop.
