Beyonce Knowles

Yesterday I told you that garage singer Beyonce Knowles failed to make the cover of London based Garage magazine. But that changed after Beyonce threw an EPIC fit.

The popular art and fashion magazine reportedly stopped the printing press and swapped out Brazilian model Adriana Lima's cover for Beyonce's cover. The 35-year-old mother-of-one becomes the first non-model to ever grace the cover of Garage magazine.

Omar Epps ad for Strivers Row

Strivers Row Boutique tapped actor Omar Epps to star in this visually appealing commercial. Omar is shown shopping for groceries -- paying attention to the smallest details -- then dashing home to cook the perfect meal for an old friend whom he hasn't seen in years. Sparks fly when she arrives right on time later that evening.

After playing a doctor on Fox network’s House M.D. for 8 years, Omar stars in a new ABC TV series, Resurrection, about a fictional town where the residents’ loved ones return from the dead.

Kanye West Brings Jesus Christ On Stage In Seattle

With the advent of President Obama's initiative to force gay marriage on Americans, many people are questioning whether God exists at all.

Music producer and rap artist Kanye West settled that question when he invited Jesus Christ Himself onstage to speak to the masses during a concert in Seattle. As Jesus commanded Kanye to go forth and show people "the light" and "the truth," incredulous concert goers in the audience screamed "JESUS IS BLACK!"

Little Miss Hispanic Jakiyah McCoy

Delaware's 7-year-old Little Miss Hispanic is devastated that she was stripped of her title because she's not Hispanic enough.

After winning the Miss Chiquita Delaware pageant on August, 31, Jakiyah McCoy graced the cover of a Spanish language newspaper. That's when questions and doubts were raised among readers in the Latin community.

El Tiempo Hispano newspaper reports that president of Nuestras Raíces (Our Roots) Delaware Maria Perez denies the allegations that Jakiyah was stripped of her title for being black.

Perez said the family couldn't prove the minimum requirement of 25% Latin roots.

Oprah Winfrey is struggling to save her OWN Network by calling in favors from stars to appear on her 'Interview' specials. Over the weekend, Oprah, 58, flew to Barbados to interview troubled singer Rihanna, 24, for an upcoming TV special. In the past few months, O has interviewed Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and the big 3 members of the world champion Miami Heat.

While pulling out all the stops to save her network, Oprah hasn't put aside her love of acting. The billionaire was spotted on the New Orleans set of her new movie The Butler. In the film, O plays the wife of Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, a man who served as the butler to eight American presidents over three decades.

Unlike Sean Combs, I bet rapper 2 Chainz pays his bills. The rapper was wrongly detained by New York's finest when they mistook 2 Chainz's rap accessory for a dangerous weapon at NY's LaGuardia airport.

2 Chainz, formerly Tity Boi, was released after the po-po examined the 4-finger ring chain, which police assumed was an illegal pair of brass knuckles.

"They tried to assassinate my character, they tried to assassinate my swag," 2 Chainz told MTV News in an exclusive telephone interview. "It was just a negative dilemma earlier where someone misconstrued a piece of jewelry for a weapon and stuff."

According to Rodney Ho of the Atlanta Journal's Radio & TV Talk Blog, the Mo'Nique Show has been canceled. That's too bad. We never got the chance to watch it...

Earlier today, I heard that “The Mo’Nique Show” had been axed. I had sent an email out to various BET publicists to ask what was up. No word back.

At about 1:30 p.m., I called Rodney Perry, who was Mo’Nique’s sidekick on the show. He said he was running into a meeting and didn’t answer my question. While I was at lunch over at the mall court, at 1:40 p.m. EST, he texted me: “I was told indefinite hiatus.”

That’s a euphemism for canceled.

In an interview I did at 2:40 p.m., the stand-up comic said he enjoyed the experience working with Mo’Nique. “I’m selling out shows now,” he said. “That’s a win.” He heard the news from Mo’Nique’s husband but hasn’t spoken to the Oscar-winning actress yet. (He wouldn’t say when he knew about this, implying he has known for awhile.)
