Chris Brown reportedly will spend a month in jail

Chris Brown's bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, is guilty of assaulting a Maryland man, a D.C. judge ruled today.

Judge Patricia Wynn ruled that Hollosy was not justified in punching Parker Adams, 20, and breaking his nose. Wynn delayed giving her decision on Hollosy's case until today so Hollosy could testify in Brown's trial.

Judge Wynn will preside over Brown's hearing on the same assault charges today in D.C. Superior Court.

USA Today obtained copies of troubled singer Chris Brown's shocking mugshots from a D.C. jail where he is incarcerated until his upcoming trial on assault charges later this month.

Brown was arrested on Oct. 27, 2013, and charged with felony assault of a man outside a D.C. hotel.

Chris Brown leaves court after rejecting plea deal, DC

Troubled singer Chris Brown appeared before a judge in a Washington, D.C. courtroom yesterday to face charges stemming from an assault outside the W Hotel in October.

Brown, 24, is accusing of punching a fan who asked for a photo. Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, who was also involved in the fracas, both rejected plea deals that would charge them with simple assault.

Both sides agreed to meet again on Feb. 20 where they would review possible surveillance video evidence and try to negotiate another plea deal.

Reality TV star Chrissy Lampkin arrested

Former Love & Hip Hop NY cast member Chrissy Lampkin, 42, was arrested following a bar fight in New Jersey in the early hours of Sunday, Dec. 29, Splash News reports. Lampkin, who stars in her own LHHNY spin-off with fiancé Jim Jones, was arrested following a bar brawl in Edgewater. Lampkin, real name Christine Lampkin, was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after the 2:30 am bar fight in which a woman was bloodied. The victim was reportedly hospitalized and treated for her injuries. Reports are that Lampkin took offense to the woman sitting on her sofa in the club's VIP section. There were no cameras rolling at the time of incident. After cooling her heels for a few hours in a 6x10 jail cell, rapper Jim Jones bailed her out.

A predator who visited the home of a 13-year-old girl found her brother and 2 of his homies waiting for him instead. If not for the vicious beating that ensued, the man might have believed he was caught in a Dateline NBC-type sting. At one point during the beat down, one of the attackers asks: "You ever heard of Dateline NBC, n*gga?"

Chris Brown probation revoked in Rihanna case

A Los Angeles judge on Monday revoked troubled singer Chris Brown's probation in the 2009 Rihanna assault case. The judge cited the assault charge that was filed against Brown in Washington D.C. on Oct. 27. But the judge didn't immediately remand Brown into custody as Brown is reportedly "doing well" in a court-ordered anger management program in Malibu, CA.

Obama Sign Language Interpreter

The Johannesburg man accused of faking sign language interpretation for President Obama and other world leaders was part of a mob who burned 2 thieves to death in 2003, the Associated Press reports.

Jantjie stood less than 3 feet away from President Obama, and other world leaders, who spoke at Nelson Mandela's memorial service last week.

One of Jantjie's cousins and three of his friends told the AP he was among a group of men who accosted two television thieves and placed tires around their necks before setting them on fire.

A California judge ordered Chris Brown to spend 90 days in a residential treatment facility for either drug treatment or anger management. The order came down during a probation status hearing just moments ago in a LA courtroom. Brown, 24, was also ordered to submit to periodic drug testing.

As you know there are rumors that Brown entered a drug rehab facility under the pretense that he was receiving therapy for anger management following his arrest for assaulting a fan in D.C. Brown's handlers denied the rumors, saying Brown was under a great deal of stress and he was not taking drugs. But a well-connected insider said Brown is addicted to drugs "real bad."
