Former Disney child star Zendaya Coleman, 17, showed her haters what part of her anatomy to kiss during last night's BET Awards. Earlier in the day, Lifetime Network announced that Zendaya would not play the role of Aaliyah in the upcoming biopic on the singer's life. Zendaya quit after Aaliyah's family and fans protested the fact that a biracial/mixed race actress was playing a black woman. Zendaya may not be playing Aaliyah, but a lot more people know who she is now. The TV movie has been put on hold until another actress can be found to fill the coveted role.

The Internet is buzzing about an odd Michael Jackson impersonation that was billed as the King of Pop returning to perform a new song in the form of a Hologram at the 2014 Billboard Awards. Whether it was hologram technology or not, it clearly was a Michael Jackson impersonation.

The (Caucasian) impersonator did not look like Michael and the body wasn't his. The technology is here to bring Michael Jackson back onscreen -- using an impersonator and superimposing his face over the impersonator's face. But that's not what we saw on the Billboard Awards last night.

12 Years a Slave wins Best Picture Oscar

Steve McQueen's slavery-themed film 12 Years a Slave won the top honor at the 86th Annual Academy Awards Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Actor Will Smith, who was awarded a Razzie on Saturday for worst actor in a flop (After Earth), presented the Best Picture Oscar Award to 12 Years a Slave.

Director McQueen said: "Everyone deserves not just to survive but to live... I dedicate this award to all the people who have endured slavery and the 21 million people who still suffer slavery today."

It was another "end of white guilt" moment for the Oscar Academy who have conditioned audiences to believe that black actors are only at their best when they portray slaves or humble domestic help.
