Beyonce Apologizes for Canceling Concert
After reading the backlash to her notice of cancellation on Facebook yesterday, Beyonce penned an apology of sorts to the outraged Belgium fans who mortgaged their homes to purchase tickets to her concert there.
The Burlesque singer wrote, “To my dearest fans in Antwerp. I’ve never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon.”

rap mogul Jay Z did not accompany wife Beyonce to the 2013 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday. He probably let her fly solo because she’s spreading lies about being pregnant again. Beyonce, who many believe did not give birth to her daughter, attended the “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” themed Costume Ball wearing an embellished gold and black Givenchy number with matching thigh high boots. I’m told that Beyonce wasn’t happy because she was upstaged by her arch nemesis, Kim Kardashian, who wore a hideous Givenchy floral maternity duster.

Beyonce’s fans are calling foul over a promotional photo circulating on the Internet. The photo shows the smiling singer holding up an empty plate with the words “MISS A MEAL” printed on the plate. “Hell Na, Tf wrong with B?,” tweeted one enraged fan on Twitter.com Thursday. “Beyonce supporting anorexia,” tweeted another.
There is no explanation for the promotional photo, which left fans wondering if the message on Beyonce’s plate was intended as a subtle fig at overweight people. Knowing Beyonce, it’s no coincidence that this promo is released 2 days after singer Tyrese Gibson reportedly insulted calorically challenged people, calling them “fat and nasty” during an interview.
President Obama Gallops to Beyonce’s Rescue?
According to a Reuters quote on the @BreakingNews official Twitter page, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s controversial visit to Cuba “was licensed by US Treasury Department for cultural purposes.”
Does anyone find it strange that the U.S. Treasury Dept. would issue a travel permit to Beyonce and Jay Z for any reason? The U.S. State Department is usually the entity that issues such travel permits — and, according to them, they didn’t even know Beyonce and Jay Z were in Cuba. So is Mr. Obama (Beyonce’s knight in shining armor) galloping to Beyonce’s rescue with a last-minute heretofore unknown permit?
