Luke Grimes

Actor Luke Grimes played a heterosexual vampire in a recurring role as James in the sixth season on HBO’s “True Blood,” before quitting in December prior to the start of the final season.

Grimes’ rep initially said his departure was due to a scheduling conflict. But now the truth has been revealed: Grimes quit the popular cable TV drama because he objected to his character engaging in sexual activity with another man.

Now Grimes is facing threats of being blacklisted in Hollywood by homosexual media and entertainment executives who control a vast majority of the industry.

Frank Ocean

Rapper T-Pain is accusing the hip hop community -- specifically rappers -- of blacklisting singer Frank Ocean because of his sexual preference.

In an open letter on his Tumblr blog in 2012, Ocean wrote that he had "unrequited feelings" for another man. But rather than accept him with open arms, the hip hop community quietly turned their backs on the 26-year-old songwriter (no pun intended). T-Pain suggested other rappers were discriminating against Ocean by not featuring him on their tracks.

Beyonce backlash

Maybe this is the real reason Beyonce cancelled tonight's concert in Antwerp, Belgium?

A large photography group that services multiple news organizations has gently informed Beyonce's camp that they will blacklist Beyonce if she doesn't lift the ban on photographs taken during her Mrs Carter world tour.

In a letter sent to Beyonce's camp, an attorney for the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) pointed out that the ban imposed by Beyonce on photographers has resulted in the proliferation of "prank" photos of Beyonce that are "far more unflattering" than the ones that have gone viral.

The NPPA attorney writes: "Ending the ban is more likely to result in publication of fair, objective and mutually beneficial photographs that serve your interests and ours."

Read the letter after the break.

By now you've all heard the story about the fisticuffs that took place between comedian Jamie Foxx and his longtime manager Breyon Prescott at a Belvedere Red party earlier this month.

According to an industry insider, who is close to both Jay Z and Jamie Foxx's camps, Jigga came to the rescue of his friend by unofficially blacklisting Prescott at the 2011 Grammy's.

My source tells me that Jay Z gave the order to his people to take Prescott's name off of his Grammy party lists -- and others in the industry followed suit.

Jay Z threw a Roc Nation brunch on the Saturday after the fight, according to my source who attended the brunch. He said when Jay saw that Prescott's name was on the list, he reportedly said, "we don't need people up here who fights their artists. It's not a good look."

Ironically, it was a pre-Grammy fight in 2009 that led to Jay Z imposing a similar blacklist on Chris Brown that nearly destroyed the singer's career after he assaulted his then-girlfriend, and Jay Z protege, Rihanna.

According to the insider, Foxx and Prescott fell out long before the ruckus took place at Club Avalon in Hollywood on Feb. 10. The two men had been friends and business partners since 1994 when Foxx released his first album entitled Peep This.

But in recent years, Jamie bristled at rumors that Breyon was allegedly using his name to make money under the table. "He was taking kickbacks, side deals, alla dat - and now Jamie doesn't want nothing to do with him," said my source in a phone call yesterday.

It seems that Prescott was too "attached" to Foxx -- but not in the way that other blogs have claimed. "He was jealous because Jamie had a better table than he did," said my informant.

Breyon's habit of using Foxx's name to score sexual services from industry groupies also troubled Foxx. The source said Prescott was drunk when they got to fighting at Avalon after Foxx had severed all contact with him.

"When Jamie got Breyon in a headlock, Breyon bit Jamie's finger. Jamie had to get stitches in that finger," said the insider, who went on to say that Foxx is huddling with his attorneys to find a way to get Jamie out of his rock solid contract with Prescott. "I think he's got 3 more albums in that contract with Breyon," the source said.
