Jameela Jamil wishes her followers would stop pestering her about Kim Kardashian's body image issues.

Jameela urged fans to stop encouraging her to "scream" at Kim Kardashian, and simply unfollow the buxom reality star if they don't like her tiny waist posts.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star hit headlines earlier this week when she shared a snap of herself showing off her impossibly tiny waist in a corset.

Many fans contacted "The Good Place" actress Jameela, who has gained something of a reputation for speaking out on social media posts with damaging body image content.

Fans begged Jameela to weigh in on the situation, but the 34-year-old actress instead told her followers that they have the power to make their own decisions about posts like Kim's.

"I've received over 1000 DMs asking me to address this," Jameela wrote on Instagram.

"Kim, like many of us, has had decades of body image issues and obsession. This has been HEAVILY perpetuated by how much the media scrutinised [sic] her and her sisters over their appearances. She isn't actively trying to harm you. She’s just so harmed and deluded into thinking this is what SHE needs to look like to be special and beautiful and she's spilling it out onto her following. Is this wrong? YES. But I'm not sure she realizes that she's doing to others what her idols did to her, in making her think a tiny waist is the key to femininity and sex appeal."

Jameela said she's happy that her fans are aware that Kim has serious body image disturbance issues. "...it shows my work is done," Jameela said.

Concluding her post, Jameela stated:

"So there's no point in screaming at her. The smart thing to do is to protect YOURSELF. YOU have the power. YOU control every Market. YOU choose what and who is trendy. Unfollow the people who tell you things that hurt your self esteem. Don't let the debris of their damage spill out onto you. Unfollow people/brands that don't make you feel powerful and happy and grateful for what you have. You're the boss and none of them are s**t without you."

It's not the first time Jameela took aim at Kim and her equally damaged sisters. She previously slammed Kim's younger sibling Khloe for promoting diet supplements on her social media pages.

Artificial butt

Black women's ongoing obsession with their butt size has taken a bizarre new twist. One woman who apparently can't afford to buy authentic butt pads, improvised by stuffing a sofa cushion down the back of her shorts! Before you laugh, the pillow was good enough to fool several men on the street who gave the chick exactly the type of attention she's probably been craving all her life.

Chaz Bono

Cher's daughter Chaz Bono, who suffers from Gender Identity Disorder (GID), lost 65 pounds after nearly a year on special diets and exercises.

Bono, who weighed 250 pounds at the start of her weight-loss journey, said the weight loss "makes everything easier."

"I just feel much more comfortable in my skin now," said the 44-year-old former Dancing With The Stars contestant. Chaz, who was born Chastity Bono, didn't feel so comfortable in her skin after living her life as a lesbian.

Michelle Williams, center, was suffering from body image disturbance issues when she turned to former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland, left, for some sisterly advice.

"I was going through a moment, looking in the mirror, and I was like, 'I need Botox,'" Williams told StyleBlazer.com in a recent interview. "I was telling the girl that I need Botox, and Kelly was like, 'Girl, hush. Just go somewhere and get a facial.'"

Adrienne Bosh

Adrienne Bosh, wife of NBA Miami Heat star Chris Bosh, looks like she's suffering from an allergic reaction in her hind quarters. Maybe it was something she ate that caused her butt cheeks to swell up like that? Whatever the reason, I hope she feels better. That swelling looks painful.

Mrs. Bosh took her son Jackson to the beach in Puerto Rico, where she attended her friends Amber Ridinger and Duane McLaughlin's wedding at the Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach.

The last post I wrote on Body Image Disturbance (BID) profiled a 23-year-old woman who died of complications related to her sixth breast augmentation surgery.

Despite the increased media focus on botched butt enhancement injections, many women continue to put their lives at risk.

Miami Gardens police have arrested a man (pictured above) who posed as a fake doctor to conduct unauthorized plastic surgery procedures on a woman who required hospitalization afterwards.

Cops say 30-year-old Oneal Ron Harris injected a substance consisting of cement, "fix-a-flat," mineral oil, and "super glue," into his victim as a butt enhancement and then sealed the incision with "super glue."

The injections resulted in what police called a "serious medical condition," requiring the victim to be hospitalized.
Miami Gardens Police say Morris also performed a similar procedure on himself. Source

Body Image Disturbance (BID), or Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a mental illness that is on the rise in the black community. Celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and Kim Kardashian help to perpetuate the myth that bizarrely altering a woman's body parts will bring them riches and fame.

Rather than improve a woman's low perception of herself, the illegal butt injections often results in depression, serious illness or death.
