Last night, Youtube held its Leaders and Legends Ball honoring L.A. Reid & Babyface, founders of LaFace Records. The Event was hosted by Lyor Cohen at the Atlanta history center in Atlanta, GA on Wednesday.

Tyler Perry was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood, California on Tuesday, October 1.

Actors Idris Elba (left), Kerry Washington (right) and Crystal Fox (2nd from left) were on hand to help salute their pal Tyler Perry as the director and playwright unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of friends and family.

Perry, 50, earned the 2,675th plaque on famed Hollywood Boulevard and some of his famous friends were there to help him celebrate.

Washington and Idris appeared in Perry's films Peeples and Daddy's Little Girls, respectively.

After the ceremony, Washington took to Instagram and wrote: "Nobody is more deserving of this than you @tylerperry. Thank you for shining so brightly, for guiding our paths, and for creating new constellations.

Mary J. Blige will be honored with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on her 47th birthday today (Jan. 11). Although celebrities can purchase a star for around 3 stacks, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a great symbol of lifetime achievement.

Old skool rapper Foxy Brown was honored with a proclamation and key to the city by the president of the Borough of Brooklyn. According to Hip Hop DX, Brown and Rev. Run's son Diggy Simmons were honored with the proclamations at the Leaders of Tomorrow event in Brooklyn.

Brown, who doesn't rap much anymore, spends her days posting Instagram.com Selfies of her ample assets, such as the image above.
