Dog walking companies in Hollywood have increased security and dog walkers are arming themselves after Lady Gaga's dog walker was shot and her beloved French bulldogs stolen.

Two of the singer's dogs -- Koji and Gustav -- are still missing. A third French bulldog, Miss Asia, escaped and was recovered by police.

TMZ contacted dog walking companies in the Hollywood area to get their thoughts on the violent dognapping incident that occurred late Wednesday.

Several companies said they're increasing security and changing their dog walking schedules to prevent a repeat of what happened to Gaga's pups.

Anna Marie Arredondo, owner of Happy Heart Pet Care in WeHo, tells TMZ she's applying for a concealed carry permit.

She also plans to take jiu-jitsu classes to protect herself and her clients' pets. All nighttime walks will take place in well-lit, highly-trafficked areas.

Renee Lutz, owner of Fetch! Pet Care in the Hollywood Hills, tells TMZ she's giving all 38 of her dog walkers pepper spray and flashlights. She's also canceling nighttime walks.

All the owners TMZ spoke to said they'll continue to walk French Bulldogs -- a coveted breed that retail for $3,000 to $10,000.

TMZ obtained horrifying surveillance camera video that captured the shooting of Ryan Fischer, 30, and the dog abduction.

Lady Gaga's team confirmed to PEOPLE that Gaga "wanted" the surveillance video "to be seen to catch the shooter and recover her dogs."

She offered $500,000 for the safe return of her pets.

Fischer, who was shot once in the chest, is listed in critical but stable condition at an area hospital.

Harrowing surveillance footage captured the moment when a dog walker for pop singer Lady Gaga was shot and two of her French bulldogs stolen.

The dog walker, identified by WENN.com Ryan Fischer, 30, was caring for the singer's beloved dogs while she is away in Rome, Italy.

The video, obtained by TMZ, shows a man walking three dogs on a sidewalk late Wednesday night.

Then a white sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima or Sentra, pulled up alongside him and two men exited the backseat.

One suspect is heard yelling "You know what this is!" and "Give it up!" as Fischer screamed for help.

One of the dogs escaped while Fischer fought with the suspects who grabbed the other two dogs. One of the thugs shot Fischer in the chest before the suspects sped away with the two dogs.

Fischer fell to the ground, screaming "Help me! I've been shot!"

Police confirmed the dog walker was shot once in the chest -- not four times as was previously reported.

Thugs shot Lady Gaga's dog walker, and stole 2 of her beloved French bulldogs. The incident happened in West Hollywood on Wednesday night, TMZ reported.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to The Daily Beast that a 30-year-old gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.

WENN.com reported that Ryan Fischer, 30, was out walking the singer's three dogs after 10 p.m. when he was robbed and shot by two men.

ABC7 reported that Fischer was seen cradling one of the dogs while he was being treated on the sidewalk for his gunshot wounds.

Fischer was caring for the dogs while Lady Gaga is out of the country. French bulldogs can retail for $1,500 - $3,000 on average, but those with a particularly sought-after pedigree have been known to sell for as much as $10,000.

Ted Cruz is the most hated man in America. The senator was heavily criticized for jetting off to sunny Cancun, Mexico, while his constituents froze to death.

Cruz, wearing a Texas flag print mask, hurried back to Texas on Thursday morning, as angry Texans called on him to resign his Senate seat.

But the story gets worse. Photos circulating on social media shows Cruz abandoned his poodle, Snowflake, at home alone without heat or lights.

Michael Hardy, a reporter for New York magazine's Intelligencer, stopped by Cruz's home in the exclusive River Oaks neighborhood. There, he photographed the lonely pooch peeking out a glass pane in the front door.

"Is this Senator Cruz's house?" the reporter asked a man who stepped out of a vehicle parked in the driveway.

The man, who identified himself as a security guard, told Hardy he was there to check on Snowflake.

"Just drove by Ted Cruz’s house in Houston. His lights are off but a neighbor told me the block got its power back last night. Also, Ted appears to have left behind the family poodle," he wrote.

Cruz claimed his daughters asked him to take them on vacation - and the tickets were already booked before the power outages.

Power has been restored to about 80% of residences in Texas, but many people are still without electricity and clean water.

To add insult to injury, some power company customers were hit with massive electric bills averaging $2.32 per kilowatt hour.

Twitter user @KatandTonyT shared a copy of her most recent power bill for a whopping $3,801.16.

She wrote:

"When your electric company tells you to switch but there has been a hold on switching for over a week now. Using as little as possible 1300 sq ft house and this is my bill. How is this fair. I only paid $1200 for the whole 2020 year."

Royalty Brown

What does a wealthy dad like Chris Brown give his spoiled daughter Royalty Brown, who already has everything? He gave the 3-year-old a pet monkey!

But are pet monkeys safe for small children? Experienced monkey caretakers say it depends on who the child is.

For example, Michael Jackson, who claimed to be a child who never grew up, owned a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles. For years Bubbles lived a life of luxury with an endless supply of bananas at Michael's Encino, California estate.

Then came the day when Bubbles bit Michael, and Michael shipped him off to an ape sanctuary.

Did you hear the news that Usher's 'OMG' single is MTV News' #1 Song Of 2010? Out of all the songs they could have picked, they chose that nauseatingly overplayed single?

According to MTV, Usher's "OMG" is the song that "perfectly sums up the past 12 months of popular music — and makes you wanna move until you can't move no more." Really? Whenever that song comes on, I never feel the urge to move anything other than my finger to change the station in my car.

Troubled singer chris brown was spotted playing with his new bulldog puppy on the beach in Miami today. More proof that brown is a man-child who has no intentions of growing up any time soon.
