Charges dropped against pimp Pimping charges were dropped against a Brooklyn man who was accused of forcing a 17-year-old girl into a life of prostitution in 2011, the NY Post reports.

The NY Post reports Robert Pannell, 36, was cleared of all charges of pimping and sex trafficking after prosecutors were alerted to an online ad offering the woman's services in exchange for money.

“We discovered a problem with the credibility of the witness and brought it to the attention of the court,” said Brooklyn District Attorney spokesman Jerry Schmetterer.

“She’s still in business,” said defense attorney David Jacobs. “[Pannell] was very happy this morning when I told him the good news, that [his accuser] was a total liar.”

Michael Jordan paternity lawsuit

NBA legend Michael Jordan has fired back at a sports groupie who claims he fathered her now 16-year-old son.

Jordan, 50, has asked Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane to dismiss the paternity suit filed by Pamela Y. Smith in Fulton County in early February.

Smith, 48, claims Jordan fathered her teenage son during a fling while Jordan was still married to his first wife, Juanita.

Smith also claims to be a practicing "Loveologist," and goes by the name Evette Smith on Twitter.

Tameka Raymond and Kile Glover

A suspect has been arrested in the death of Kile Glover, the 11-year-old son of Tameka Raymond and her ex-husband Ryan Glover.

According to TMZ, a Grand Jury in Hall County indicted Jeffrey Simon Hubbard for operating a jet ski irresponsibly and causing the accident that left Kile brain dead and a 16-year-old girl injured on Lake Lanier in July 2012.
