Vigils were held all over the country for the victims of the violent ‘Unite the Right’ rally in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, Aug. 12. The KKK, neo-Nazis and white supremacist groups assembled at Lee Park on Saturday to protest the planned removal of the Gen. Robert E. Lee confederate statue.

A transsexual male was shot and killed in College Park, GA. Troy Dangerfield was shot while sitting in a car outside an apartment complex about 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, AJC.com reports.

His death brings the list of murdered trans persons in the United States in 2017 to 23.
