Erick Sermon

Rap legend Erick Sermon gave gossip tabloid TMZ his unique perspective on cross-dresser Bruce Jenner‘s planned sex change.

“Bruce is crazy,” the ‘Green-Eyed Bandit’ told TMZ’s reporter. Sermon, who is one half of the rap duo EPMD, added that Jenner, 65, “took too long” to make his dramatic announcement. He wondered if it was all an elaborate publicity stunt.

Future Good Morning

Dj Holiday just dropped Future‘s track “Good Morning”. This is the track that was supposed to be on Future’s Honest album. But Beyonce jacked it for her alcoholic’s anthem, “Drunk in Love”, off her self-titled album.

Even with auto-tunes, Future’s original version sounds better, in my opinion.

Frank Ocean

Rapper T-Pain is accusing the hip hop community — specifically rappers — of blacklisting singer Frank Ocean because of his sexual preference.

In an open letter on his Tumblr blog in 2012, Ocean wrote that he had “unrequited feelings” for another man. But rather than accept him with open arms, the hip hop community quietly turned their backs on the 26-year-old songwriter (no pun intended). T-Pain suggested other rappers were discriminating against Ocean by not featuring him on their tracks.

Nicki’s much-anticipated track “Roman’s Revenge” featuring Eminem leaked online over the weekend. In it she unleashes the full wrath of her Roman Zolanski alter ego on her arch nemesis Lil Kim and other female rappers who defined an era.

Is this the thanks I get for putting you bishes on?
Is it my fault that all of you bishes gone
Should’a sent a thank you note, you little ho
Now I’ma wrap your coffin with a bow.

Nicki, she just mad cause you took her spot
Word, that bish mad ’cause I took the spot?
Well bish if u ain’t sh*ttin’, then get off the pot
Got some n*ggas out in Brooklyn that’ll off ya top

Some fool has convinced rapper Nicki Minaj that she is a Hip Hop phenomenon — and she believes that lie. Whoever or whatever Nicki Minaj thinks she is, she will never be the Queen B!

The truth is, Nicki Minaj and all her silly gimmicks will never impact Hip Hop the way Lil Kim has.

Nicki’s gimmick fails badly on this lame track. Her nursery school attack disses are even worse than Nicki’s annoying cartoonish voices and exaggerated accents.

No wonder Eminem initially refused to jump on this track with Nicki. Can you blame him? Em kills this track and he didn’t even need an annoying voice to do it.

Watch Nicki Minaj perform in Trinidad after the break!

From London’s bio:

LONDON
Among the many hopefuls who attempt to make it big in the music industry, only a chosen few obtain the goal. Even more elusive are those who exceed it. They’re the ones who have that elusive “it” quality – the ones whose genuine talent and ability to engage an audience and deliver a song with a matchless style sets them apart from the masses. The ones like London. Armed with years of preparation and an abundance of talent, this burgeoning singer-songwriter is destined to stand out in a sea of “next big names” in R&B music via his Universal/Motown debut, Man of My Word.

A native of Oakland, California, London’s talent for singing was initially discovered as a child. He sang in his church choir and he eventually joined them. As an adolescent London set his sites on a career in music but like many of his peers in the hip-hop generation, singing didn’t strike him as a particularly masculine hobby. Instead, he opted to make his professional foray into the industry as a rapper as a member of the eight-man crew Keep It Clean. The group had begun to see moderate success but sought to add an element that would give them that unique edge.
