Will Smith and son Jaden Smith, 14, arrived at the Miami Science Museum to promote their new movie “After Earth” in Miami, Florida on Thursday, May 16. Will and Jaden presented a blank check to the Miami Science Museum to fund the Upward Bound Math and Science program for 100 students. How ironic is it that Will’s own children don’t see the value in an education?

Will Smith, right, and his son Jaden, 14, attended game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals NBA playoff game between the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls on Wednesday at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The Heat defeated the Bulls 94-91 to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals game against either the Knicks or the Pacers. Indiana has a 3-1 lead over the hapless Knicks in their best-of-seven series. The elimination game is tonight at 8 p.m. EST on TNT.

Jaden Smith does Not want to be emancipated from his parents
Yesterday the Internet was abuzz with the news that Will Smith said his 14-year-old son Jaden asked for permission to be an emancipated minor.
Will made the statements in a recent interview in Tokyo. He said he approved Jaden’s request to be emancipated from his parents so he could move into his own house on 15th birthday in July.
But today, Jaden is laughing off the comments made by his father (who people sometimes forget is a comedian).

Singer Kelly Rowland stretched her legs as she lounged on Miami beach in Florida over the weekend. Rowland, who is rarely seen alone, relaxed on the beach by herself until a friend came along and gave her a peck on the lips. I don’t think Rowland’s longtime boyfriend/manager Tim Weatherspoon has anything to worry about though.

Will Smith, 44, plants a wet kiss on the forehead of his youngest son, actor Jaden Smith, at the photo call for their new movie ‘After Earth’ at The 5th Annual Summer Of Sony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on Tuesday (April 23) in Cancun, Mexico. Jaden, 14, also fancies himself a rapper and a skateboarder. At least he has the necessary skills to fall back on during hard times, since his parents don’t emphasize the benefits of a solid education.

Will Smith Surprises British School Girls, Sings ‘Fresh Prince’ Theme Song (Video)
Will Smith loves the kids. The father of 3 made a surprise appearance at an assembly for A+ students at a school in London on Monday. When Smith launched into an acapella version of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song, the audience of school girls went nuts. Smith was in Europe with his son Jaden Smith, the opening act for pop singer Justin Bieber during his 4 night stand at London’s 02 Arena.
