Nicki Minaj's new husband, Kenneth "Zoo" Petty, 42, reportedly dropped $1.1 million in cash on her wedding ring. The Barbie rapper posted images and videos showing off their rings on Instagram.com.

There are unconfirmed rumors that Nicki gave Zoo the million in cash, along with a note to take to the jeweler. But Nicki and Zoo dismissed the rumors in an Instagram post.

"Everybody said that you secured the bag, you married a multi-millionaire and you secured the bag," said Nicki, who was dressed as the Bride of Chucky.

"You know I just cut somebody's mother f**king finger off for that ring," replied Zoo, who is dressed as Chucky.

"You mean, I didn't buy this ring?" Minaj asks him.

"No, you didn't buy that ring!" he responded.

According to reports, the massive ring wasn't ready when the couple tied the knot at a private residence. The custom ring was hand delivered this week, and Nicki excitedly showed it off on social media on Wednesday.

The jeweler, Rafaello & Co., told TMZ that Zoo paid for the ring on his own. But many speculate that the jeweler was instructed to tell TMZ that.

The jeweler also noted that the 17-carat ring is worth an estimated $1.1 million. Kathryn Money, VP of Strategy & Merchandising for Brilliant Earth tells ET that the diamond ring is about 15-carats and the white gold or platinum band alone is worth an estimated $50,000 to $65,000.

Nicki married Zoo after a brief, whirlwind courtship. They reportedly met when she was a teenager. He is a registered sex offender who spent time in prison for manslaughter. But Nicki wants to put all of that behind her as she embarks on her new life journey at age 36.

"When I was little, I always imagined princess and marriage and the wedding and now it's more to me about the life, the future, the love, the partnership, than the wedding," she said. "[It's] so strange cause I didn't expect myself to be one of those people who didn't care about the hoopla, but I really don't."

Nicki's diamond bling isn't as impressive as the $10 million, 40 carat rock Steve Harvey gave his wife, Marjorie Harvey, after rumors of infidelities and impending divorce landed him in the headlines.

Wendy Williams is concerned about rapper Nicki Minaj-Petty's welfare. The daytime talk show Diva questioned Nicki's shotgun marriage to Kenneth "Zoo" Petty, a man with an extensive criminal record.

Nicki, 36, shocked her fans in September when she announced she was retiring from music to start a family with her man, Zoo Petty.

"I've decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain't nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE," she tweeted.

The Barbie's fans were concerned because Zoo has a long criminal history which includes murder and sexual assault.

Nicki and Zoo Petty tied the knot at a private residence on Monday, changing her legal name to Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty.

Wendy, who is happily single, addressed Nicki's quickie wedding during her popular daytime talk show on Thursday.

"Nicki Minaj is married. There are some naysayers that say, 'Why did you marry this guy, Kenneth Petty? I understand why she married him, you know what I'm saying? She's known by all the world at this particular point in her life. She's the biggest thing going. And sometimes when you're the biggest thing going, you wanna have a safety blanket; a comfort zone, and that would be somebody you grew up with."

But Wendy questioned whether Nicki was wise to marry a murderer and a registered sex offender. The 41-year-old Aries was convicted of first-degree manslaughter and released from prison in 2013.

"I think that she will probably start a family right away, and can you imagine a burgeoning belly with these burgeoning hips? I mean, the plastic of it all! I don't know what he does for a living. I just know that he did time in jail. He's a sex offender. Well, she's no stranger to that considering her brother's in jail for sex offending. [Petty] served seven years in prison, and he's also a sex offender. So he's a killer and a sex offender. Well, Nicki. Congratulations!"
