The rapper announced she was pregnant in a social media post on Monday morning.

"#Preggers," the rapper captioned a shot of her baby bump.

She previously sparked pregnancy speculation in early May, when she tweeted, "No throwing up. But nausea and peeing non stop. Omg what do u think this means guys????"

Minaj then teased she would be sharing a baby bump photo "in a couple months", adding: "The world ain't ready yet" and she asked fans for tips on the size bra to wear to fit her swollen boobs.

The "Anaconda" hitmaker has had motherhood on her mind for years. Back in 2014 she told Complex magazine, "(I fear) I'll become so consumed with work that I'll forget to live my personal life to the fullest. If I'm done with my fifth album and I don't have a child by then, no matter how much money I have, I would be disappointed, as a woman, because I feel like I was put here to be a mother..."

She added, "I definitely will be married before I have my baby. I want to make sure I do it in that order. I've always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head."

Minaj and Petty tied the knot in October 2019.

Rapper Nicki Minaj is loving her life as a married woman and an expectant mother.

The "Starships" hitmaker married Kenneth Petty last year and, even though they've had their ups and downs, Nicki is very satisfied being married.

Nicki gushed over her husband during an interview with Lil Wayne on his "Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne" podcast on Apple Music on Friday.

She also seemed to confirm rumors she is pregnant with her and Kenny's first child.

"I didn't think it would be as refreshing and calming as it is," she said. "Even if you're not married, when you have someone that feels like your soulmate or someone who understands you, it just makes you feel like you're on top of the world."

The "Megatron" star's fans speculated that she could be pregnant, as she concealed her belly in many scenes in her latest music video for the song "Trollz" with troubled rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.

Last month (May20), fans asked Nicki outright if she was expecting a child, to which she quipped back: "The world ain't ready yet."

Nicki Minaj's husband has been approved to surf the Internet while he awaits trial for failing to register as a sex offender in California.

Kenneth Petty, who was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in his native New York back in 1995 at age 16, turned himself in to authorities on March 4 after he was indicted by U.S. Marshals for failing to register.

The 41-year-old househusband pleaded not guilty and was freed on bond. As a condition of his bond, he was forbidden from going online without a supervisor's approval.

The purpose of the Internet restriction is to prevent sex offenders from perusing p0rn websites and being enticed to reoffend.

Petty filed a request to have his Internet privileges restored, and on Monday, March 16, his wish was officially granted by a judge, reports TMZ.

Petty became a resident of California last summer after moving cross-country with Minaj, whom he wed in October.

He previously served almost four years in a New York prison for the sex attack against a 16-year-old girl.

Petty finally registered as a sex offender as required by law, and Minaj's home address is easily accessible on California's sex offender registry.

Minaj previously dismissed trolls who mocked her husband online by saying he won't read their comments because he doesn't surf the internet. Apparently, she lied or she wasn't aware of her husband's online activities.

He is due to stand trial for failing to register his status as a sex offender next month.

Nicki Minaj expressed her embarrassment after the feds arrested her husband, Kenny Petty, for failing to register as a sex offender in California.

Petty, who moved to L.A. from New York, was arrested back in November for not registering as a sex offender on the West Coast. He was released on $20,000 bond and ordered to register, as required by law.

He was arrested again on March 4, when police determined he still had not registered. He was released on bond again, and, as of Monday, he is listed on the registry.

Among those sharpening their knives when the story broke was Wendy Williams, who slammed the Barbie rapper for marrying an ex-con sex offending murderer in the first place.

Williams, 55, who previously criticized Nicki for marrying Petty, didn't have time to broach the subject during her Hot Topic's segment on Tuesday. She told her audience she will lead with the story on Wednesday's show.

"That's going to be my first story tomorrow, and I'm going to lead with this: You should've never married him, because now you've ruined everything about what your brand could be, again. You're never gonna stand a chance when you're with a man who pulls a knife at rape point... a molester... a registered sex offender. You're never going to stand a chance with John Q. Public. Because there's only one thing worse than touching children and pulling knives, and that's murder. By the way, he did go to jail for manslaughter."

Question: Did Nicki destroy her career because of her poor choice in a man?

It took two arrests for Nicki Minaj's husband Kenneth Petty to finally register as a sex offender in California.

Petty, 41, is now listed as a sex offender in the California Department of Justice's database, Page Six reports.

Petty was arrested last week by federal agents when he failed to register after a previous arrest in November 2019. He was released on $20,000 bond in November and advised to register, but he refused.

Petty was 16 when he was convicted in 1995 of attempting to rape a 16-year-old girl. Despite registering in California, he still faces charges for not registering last year.

Nicki, real name Onika Tanya Maraj, was embarrassed and humiliated after the arrest, but she said she is "standing" by her man.

"Kenneth's arrest is embarrassing but it is not a relationship killer whatsoever. She has known Kenneth forever and knows the person he is and is in love with him and she wants this to go way as quickly as possible," a source tells Hollywood Life.

The source said Nicki, 37, will address her husband's March 4 arrest on an upcoming episode of her Queen Radio show.

Nicki Minaj's overly protective husband Kenny Petty was arrested by U.S. Marshals on an indictment for failing to register as a sex offender, TMZ has learned.

Petty was in federal custody Wednesday after he turned himself into the Marshals.

According to court documents, he will be held until he faces a judge later today. Petty's troubles began after he got pulled over in Beverly Hills in November.

Cautious Beverly Hills PD ran a background check on the Black man driving an expensive vehicle, and determined Petty was a registered sex offender in New York state but had not registered in the state of California as required.

He was arrested and released on a $20,000 bond in November.

Petty's rap sheet includes a 1995 conviction for first-degree attempted rape. He served almost 4 years in NY state prison for the crime and was required to register as a sex offender. If convicted on the federal charge for failure to register, Kenneth, 37, faces up to 10 years in prison.

Nicki, 37, apologized after Petty shoved a Trinidadian singer who got too close to Nicki during Carnival in her native Trinidad and Tobago last month.

"Allyuh like sh-t eh? I go cus all yuh real fkn stink yuh know? [Kenneth] don't understand about our culture. I apologize on his behalf. He's always in security mode. All love. Love my country to death. Love my [people] to death. Period. … I should've told him it's a very comfortable family atmosphere. He's never been to a carnival in his life. Not even in Brooklyn, babe."

Nicki Minaj called Wendy Williams "demonic" and "vicious" in a furious rant, after the daytime talk show host mocked her new husband Kenny "Zoo" Petty.

The newlywed rapper tied the knot with the 41-year-old ex-convict last month, but Williams made it clear she's not a fan of the shotgun marriage on her Wendy Williams Show.

"Now, he served seven years in prison and he's also a sex offender," Williams told her audience, referring to Zoo's time served in prison for attempted rape and first degree manslaughter. "So that means that he... is a manslaughter a killer? Okay. So, he's a killer and a sex offender… Well Nicki, congratulations," Williams said, as her audience laughed.

But Minaj, 36, wasn't laughing. She was less than impressed by the TV host's scathing character assassination. Minaj fired back at Williams on her Queen Radio show on iHeartRadio, WENN.com reports.

"It's not about doing your job. There are people who report the news and there are people who do it with an evil intent in their heart, viciousness. And I pray for you because I know you're hurting and I know you must be sick and humiliated," Minaj said.

The rap star continued: "I didn't know that in our society, you have to be plagued by your past. I didn't know that people can't turn over a new leaf. I didn't know that your viciousness and evilness was this deep rooted."

The "Starships" hitmaker then took aim at Wendy's failed marriage to Kevin Hunter, 47. Minaj implied that Williams, 55, is bitter because she's not getting enough good sex.

"When a women isn't really being loved at home, the viciousness is a different type. So I really wanted to pray for you today, because look at where you are now in your life. But you are demonic, and that's why this stuff unfolded. If I were you, I would go and pray, ask for forgiveness. You can report the news — people do it all the time - without the level of viciousness and trying to play dumb and doing all this nonsense."

Nicki Minaj and her new husband Kenneth "Zoo" Petty tied the knot in a "no frills" wedding on Monday. But now they are planning a huge celebration for family and friends.

The 36-year-old Barbie rapper confirmed she and Kenneth exchanged vows in a video she shared on her Instagram page that showed matching "Mr and Mrs" mugs and "Bride and Groom" baseball caps. In the caption, Nicki revealed her new surname: "Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19."

Sources tell TMZ that the couple married at a private residence in Los Angeles with just a few members of their immediate families to witness the nuptials, as well as a female minister to conduct the ceremony.

But the newlyweds are planning a proper church service and a huge star-studded celebration in the near future. First they are working on an heir or heiress to Nicki's rap throne.

The insider added the only reason they had a small service initially is because their marriage license was due to expire, meaning they would have to apply for a new one and start over again if they wanted to marry after the 90-day deadline expired.

Nicki and Kenny's plans are similar to power couple Justin and Hailey Bieber, who initially wed in a New York courthouse in September 2018. They hosted another wedding service and star-studded celebration last month.

Wedding bells will be ringing for Nicki Minaj and her fiancé Kenny "Zoo" Petty. The couple set the date for next week, as Nicki's fans share their concerns for her online.

"We've gotten our marriage license, but there's a particular pastor who I want to officiate, and so she was just made available as of today," the rapper told E! News.

"She told me she's available within the next week, so we could be married in the next seven days."

The future Mrs. Petty and her bew obtained a marriage license in late July. But she had been referring to him as her husband for months prior.

"We're very close as friends, 'cause we've known each other since we were kids, but also, we're so sexually attracted to each other. We always wanna do it," the middle-aged rap star told E! News.

But Nicki's fans are worried that the "Barbie Tingz" rapper is rushing a little too quickly down the aisle. And that she may be headed for trouble. They say Kenny has a criminal history and he's a registered sex offender.

But Nicki dismissed their concerns.

"People can say all they want, Nicki added, "The only person that can tell me what to do is my man, and that's only because he got some good D, but if he stops having good D, then not even he can tell me what to do."

Rumors swirled that Minaj married Petty in a civil ceremony recently. But she dismissed the rumors.

The couple initially dated when they were both teenagers in Queens, NY. He served seven years in prison for first-degree manslaughter and was released in 2013.

The couple hooked back up in 2018. They have been inseparable ever since.

Petty, who has a criminal record, came under scrutiny for carrying a loaded weapon during an Instagram Live video.

Many pointed out that the 41-year-old ex convict came off supervised probation just last year.
