Despite the fact that Bravo TV stages (or encourages) fake fights between its cast members, a civil rights group is condemning the fake violence.
In a letter to NBCUniversal last week, the civil rights organization ColorOfChange complained bitterly about Bravo TV promoting the staged violence for weeks prior to airing the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion.
It’s over. Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s current season of cat fighting and scripted foolishness has come to an end.
Last night Bravo aired Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Show. And it was more of the same: screeching hissy fits, wig pulling and floor dragging — all of the pettiness and nonsense that RHOA viewers have grown accustomed to.
After a staged fight on location at the Biltmore Hotel, Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kenya Moore placed a 911 call to Atlanta police to report she sustained a minor head injury during a fight with co-star Porsha Williams.
Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Porsha Williams (formerly Porsha Stewart) turned herself in to Atlanta police yesterday after fellow cast member Kenya Moore filed a bogus assault and battery charge on her.
Mind you, both of these women collect paychecks from the same employer (Bravo TV) who requires the occasional boxing match if the cast wishes to keep their day jobs. I guess the Atlanta PD aren’t aware these shows are scripted?
The ladies of ‘The Apprentice‘ were seen working hard for Charity at Pie Face in Union Square while filming an episode today. Pie Face closed down for the day so the ladies could film. Keshia Knight Pulliam (pictured above) has grown into a fine, healthy, big boned young lady. As you know, Keshia played little Rudy on The Cosby Show. I heard a disturbing rumor about Keshia that I will not mention
until the moment is right. Sandrarose.com does not entertain unconfirmed gossip and innuendoes. Other cast members filming the episode include Kenya Moore, Vivica Fox, Brandi Glanville, and Leeza Gibbons.
A staged fight on the set of Real Housewives of Atlanta got out of hand when the participants, namely Phaedra Park’s husband Apollo Nida, lost control of the situation. The incident happened at a local hotel where Bravo Network’s producers suggested that the RHOA cast members participate in a pajama party (who does that?) I know this is a difficult concept for some of you to grasp, but please try and remember that everyone in the room draws a paycheck from Bravo — which means they are ALL in on the impending hijinks.
Anyway, the fake fight, which everyone knew was coming, went left when tempers flared and Nida, 35, flipped out on Kenya Moore’s gay “boyfriend”, Brandon. Peter Thomas, who was at the center of the scrum, explained what happened next to S2Smagazine.com magazine.
