A staged fight on the set of Real Housewives of Atlanta got out of hand when the participants, namely Phaedra Park’s husband Apollo Nida, lost control of the situation. The incident happened at a local hotel where Bravo Network’s producers suggested that the RHOA cast members participate in a pajama party (who does that?) I know this is a difficult concept for some of you to grasp, but please try and remember that everyone in the room draws a paycheck from Bravo — which means they are ALL in on the impending hijinks.
Anyway, the fake fight, which everyone knew was coming, went left when tempers flared and Nida, 35, flipped out on Kenya Moore’s gay “boyfriend”, Brandon. Peter Thomas, who was at the center of the scrum, explained what happened next to S2Smagazine.com magazine.
Another episode of the utterly Fake Real Housewives of Atlanta aired last night. In the episode, Kandi Burruss’ mom, Joyce, threatens Kandi’s fiancé, Todd Tucker; Cynthia Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas, gives Phaedra Parks’ husband, Apollo Nida, friendly relationship advice; and washed up model Kenya Moore wards off evil spirits.
I received an email from a friend who is in the legal field. He covers court cases for another media entity. It finally dawned on him yesterday that the whole Kenya Moore eviction debacle is just another stunt to boost TV ratings and to draw attention to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” tv series. This shouldn’t surprise anyone. I’ve been saying this all along about reality TV shows using the court system to boost ratings. Read the email after the break.
The tabloid headlines read: “KENYA MOORE EVICTED,” but in reality, Kenya Moore simply skipped out on paying the remaining rent due on her leased mansion when she moved back to California.
When Bravo announced Kenya’s addition to the cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 5 in 2012, insiders wondered how Kenya could be an “Atlanta housewife” when A. she isn’t married, and B. she doesn’t live in Atlanta.
The latter problem was solved when Bravo found a mansion for Kenya to lease during filming. Many homeowners found themselves underwater on their mortgages when the housing bubble burst in 2007. Some homeowners hold off the banks by leasing their mansions to the entertainment industry for music videos and movies.
Heavily pregnant singer Tamar Braxton-Herbert waves to photogs as she departs her Manhattan hotel this morning in NYC. Someone should send this photo to Kim Kardashian so she can see what size belly bump to buy. Tamar is in town to promote her WeTV reality series, Tamar and Vince.

If you missed last night’s episode of RHOA, you didn’t miss much. Kandi Burruss and her fiance Todd Tucker discussed prenuptial agreements and using a surrogate to carry their baby so she doesn’t gain unnecessary weight. Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore filmed their workout videos. NeNe Leakes and her husband Greg discussed living on separate coasts, and Porsha emptied an entire bottle of visine on her face for her totally staged crying scenes. Like I said, you didn’t miss much.

If you missed last night’s episode of the Real Scripted Housewives of Atlanta: Battle of the Booty, you’re in luck. Bravo TV has the run down on the scripted mishaps and buffoonery, and Yardie has the full video after the break.
