The blogosphere continues to poke fun at the painfully image-conscious Kardashian women. Yesterday a photoshopped image of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (as the Klumps) went viral on the internet. The same prankster behind that photo is likely responsible for this age-proggression image of the Kardashian sisters: Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim -- as they might look when menopause kicks in in about 10 years.
Last Friday, Khloe Kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom, was almost traded to the New Orleans Hornets NBA franchise. Mr. Odom unleashed a series of angry tweets on Twitter.com, before claiming his Twitter page had been hacked into.
Then, during a moment of male bonding between Lamar and uber macho ESPN radio jock Stephen A. Smith, the 6 ft 10 in, 230 lb Odom dissolved into tears. Lamar's emotional response to this event might be due to the early stages of male menopause.
Emotional changes are one of the signs and symptoms of low testosterone in men that occurs when a male is going through "the change". Hormonal changes are a natural part of aging for both men and women. Though women experience more changes than men when hormone levels drop due to aging.
What exactly is male menopause?
According to the Mayo Clinic, male menopause is "sometimes used to describe decreasing testosterone levels or a reduction in the bioavailability of testosterone related to aging."
Male menopause occurs after age 30 on average. By about age 70, the decrease in a man's testosterone level can be as much as 50 percent. One of the first signs of male menopause in a man is weight gain around the midsection, aka pot belly.
Hopefully OK! magazine can recoup the $300,000 they lost, er, spent on this cover. Lol, they had to put Kim Kardashian on the cover if they had any hope of selling more than 100 magazines.
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s publicity stunt wedding has finally reached its climax.
After shelling out $300 000, the upcoming issue of OK! mag offers all the details on the ceremony, from interviews with bridesmaids/sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian to dish on the wedding dress, ring and cake.
The issue — which strangely also features Kim and Khloe — hits shelves tomorrow. The wedding production airs on November 8 on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. (Source)
I did a double take when I saw this magazine cover on another blog. I had to make sure that I was seeing the words "Life & Stye" instead of "OK! magazine", which reportedly shelled out $300,000 in cold cash to Khloe Kardashian and her mama for the exclusive rights to Khloe and Lamar Odom's wedding.
Yet there she is laughing it up on the cover of Life & Style magazine in her white Vera Wang wedding dress -- and OK! magazine's editors are not amused!
Not only did Life & Style get the wedding dress money shot, but so did X17online.com's paparazzi as well as numerous helicopter bound paparazzi in the skies above the Beverly Hills mansion where Khloe's quickie marriage to NBA star Lamar Odom took place on Sunday.
According to ContactMusic, the magazine bosses are furious at Khloe for allowing her wedding to turn into a 3-ring media circus. But that's what media whores DO, and OK! magazine should have already known that!
No doubt, the Kardashians made a few side deals in addition to the one they had with OK! mag. At this point, Khloe Kardashian needs to stack as much loot as she can because her sister Kim Kardashian -- the other media whore in the family -- wants her spotlight back.
In the meantime, OK! mag is out $300,000 and clear pictures of Khloe in her wedding dress are all over the Internets.
A guest at the wedding told OK! mag, "There were so many helicopters overhead, you couldn't hear the vows. The Kardashian family had assured OK! the ceremony would be at a secluded location, but in the end it was a circus."
Speaking of magazine covers, First Lady Michelle O covers Prevention magazine this month. Inside she says, "Life really gets good when you're 40 or 50." I bet she'll sing a different tune when she starts going through menopause!
A few celebs and ball players turned out to attend Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's sham made-for-TV wedding yesterday. It's a shame that public figures have to resort to publicity stunts to stay relevant now because they have no known talent. The bride wore a Vera Wang dress and the groom wore Armani. OK! magazine has the exclusive on the wedding pics. I hope those pics are worth the $300,000 the mag shelled out for that exclusive.

I found a quote on a left-wing urban blog and it got me to thinking: do black men date and marry outside of their race because they believe women of another race are a better catch than black women?
Zabeth of Zabeth's blog asks why couldn't Lamar Odom "marry his former girlfriend of 10 years, who is also the mother of his 3 children but, somehow has the balls to marry the childless woman he's only known for 1 month!"
She goes on to say that "Khloe (and any children she may have with him) will reap ALL of the legal benefits, priviled[ges], and guarantees of being a wife while [high school sweetheart] Liza Morales will get child support."
But isn't that the image we see portrayed over and over in rap music videos? Black women are cast as "bitches", "hoes" and "baby mamas" who always have their hands out for child support, while the childless LSLH/white women are cloaked in furs and diamonds.
It should come as no surprise then that the black community leads the nation in single family homes headed by black women.
It wasn't always that way though. At one time, the black man was proud of his black woman. In 1966, for instance, 85% of black households were headed by black men. Today, it's more like 29%.
As Zabeth concludes, "[We don't] need to spell out the implications and lessons learned here."
It’s been confirmed: Following a month-long romance, Khloe Kardashian and LA Lakers star Lamar Odom will wed this Sunday — likely as cameras for E! Keeping with the Kardashians role.
A pal of the bride-to-be tells Life & Style mag: “It’s at a private residence in L.A. The wedding planner, photographer, groomsmen and bridesmaids have all been chosen.”
“It’s chaos at the Kardashian household!” the friend adds.
No word on when the impending divorce will follow.
