Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin fractured his hand punching the team’s equipment manager when a bullying incident escalated out of control.

Griffin, 26, and Matias Testi were dining with Griffin’s teammate, center DeAndre Jordan, 27, and assistant athletic trainer Joe Resendez at Toronto’s Sotto Sotto restaurant on Jan. 23.

According to published reports, Griffin broke his hand after punching a member of the team’s equipment staff in the face during a fight in Toronto. Griffin immediately flew back to Los Angeles for treatment.

Embattled and disgraced LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling has agreed to relinquish ownership of the Clippers to his estranged wife of 59 years, Rochelle “Shelly” Sterling. Gossip tabloid TMZ.com reports that Shelly has agreed to sell the team — but only on her terms.

According to TMZ, Shelly is in secret negotiations with NBA officials, who are ramping up efforts to force Donald Sterling to sell the team after he was secretly recorded telling his ex-mistress, V. Stiviano, not to bring black men (specifically Magic Johnson) to his games.
