Niecy Nash insists she wasn't "coming out" of the closet when she exchanged vows with stud lesbian singer, Jessica Betts.

The 50-year-old actress and comedian insists her relationship with Jessica has nothing to do with her gender.

The Reno 911! star tied the knot with the singer, months after divorcing her 2nd husband Jay Tucker in March.

She announced her relationship status in a post on social media last month, revealing her new name.

"Mrs. Carol Denise Betts," she captioned an Instagram photo.

Niecy was also wed to Don Nash, the father of her three kids, from 1994 to 2007. Ironically, Jessica sang at Niecy's wedding when she exchanged vows with Tucker in 2011.

Jessica, 38, sang to Niecy when she guest-starred on an episode of Claws in 2018.

Now Niecy reveals she never hid her sexuality and she isn't "coming out" of the closet because she was never in one.

"(My marriage) has absolutely nothing to do with gender and it has everything to do with her soul," Niecy tells People magazine. "She is the most beautiful soul I have ever met in my life."

Niecy, Carol Denise Ensley, stopped short of admitted she is bisexual.

"I was not suppressing my sexuality my whole life," she said. "I love who I love. At one point in my life, I married twice and I love those people. And today I love this person. I've done everything I wanted to do on my own terms and my own way. So my choice now in a partner has nothing to do with who I've always been. It's a matter of who I am in this moment."

And Niecy doesn't consider her wedding announcement a "coming out" moment, adding, "It's rather a going into myself and being honest about who I love. And I'm not limiting myself on what that love is supposed to look like."

Niecy and Jessica first connected on social media in 2015, when Nash was married to Tucker.

"(Jessica) and I were friends, but I never saw her as someone I would date," Nash recalls, recalling that she had a change of heart after the couple split. "But we began to see each other in a way we never had before."

Jessica is best known as the winner of Missy Elliott's Road to Stardom reality competition series in 2005.

Singer/songwriter David Crosby hit back at fan speculation that he only served as "sperm donor" for lesbian rocker Melissa Etheridge, 58, and her ex-partner Julie Cypher.

Etheridge's son, Beckett Cypher, died Wednesday of an opioid overdose after struggling with drug addiction for years. He was 21.

Crosby, a co-founder of Crosby, Stills & Nash band, donated sperm so Cypher (left) could conceive son Beckett and daughter Bailey Cypher.

Etheridge, Crosby and Cypher were featured with their children, Bailey and Beckett, and Crosby's wife, Jan Dance (left), on a 2000 cover of Rolling Stone magazine as an example of a modern family (below).

Crosby, 78, took to Twitter.com on Thursday to dispute allegations that he only served as the sperm donor and was not actively involved in his children' lives.

One fan wrote: "I respectfully point out, David was their donor... They did not have a son 'with' him. He was Melissa and Julie's child. They raised him. Like most donors, he played no other part."

Crosby responded: "Not true."

In a 1994 interview, Etheridge told The Advocate about her plans to have children with then partner Cypher.

She said she hoped having children would help society overcome their fears of homosexuals raising children.

"I think one of the many fears people have about homosexuality is around children. I think that the more gay parents raise good, strong, compassionate people, the better the world will be," she said.

But Cypher and Etheridge split in 2000. Etheridge went on to have twins in 2006 with new partner Tammy Lynn Michaels. They broke up in 2010 after dating 8 years.

Cypher has been married to a man, Matthew Hale, since 2004.

Rapper Meghan Thee Stallion has opened up about her alternate sexual lifestyle, revealing she likes girls.

The "Hot Girl Summer" hitmaker insists she's "not scared of the ladies" when it comes to intimacy, and she believes women should be able to explore their sexuality without judgment.

The rapper, who was born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, has been the subject of lesbian rumors since before she released her first full-length album, Fever, on May 17, 2019.

"I mean, you know I kissed a few girls before. We not scared of the ladies. It's all love," she tells British Vogue. "In real life, I'm really about what I be talking. Men are free to do what they want to do, date whoever they want to date and women should have the same options, without judgment."

While the Texas native has chosen to be candid about her personal life, she doesn't appreciate strangers commenting on her sexual lifestyle. Megan's gimmick is her sultry personality and all natural hot bod. She knows sex sells more records - to her male fans.

But her fans pulled Megan's lesbun card last year.

"Sometimes people try to put you in a box, right, and they try to put their views on you and they try to make you behave how everybody in society feels you should behave.

"But this is my s**t! This is my body, my mouth, my lyrics, this is what I want to say, this is how I want to act. I really want people to stop caring about how other people want them to live and to start to live for themselves. Cos I'm living for myself and I'm doing d**n good with myself!"

Da Brat made headlines when she shared an Instagram video revealing her relationship with Instagram entrepreneur Jesseca Dupart, aka BB Judy, 38.

Da Brat explained:

"I have never experienced this feeling. It's so overwhelming that often I find myself in a daze hoping to never get pinched to see if it's real so I can live in this dream forever."

On an episode of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show last Friday, the 45-year-old semi-retired rapper said she made the decision to come out of the closet because times have changed and the industry isn't as homophobic as it was in the '80s and '90s.

"I've always been an advocate of privacy, pretty much to protect the interest of the other party involved. Because if you're not used to this life and the scrutiny that come with it, it can break you."

Da Brat dumps out an ashtray while one of her ex-girlfriends looks on in a photo taken in 1994.

"I've been talked about for over 20 years or more so I'm kind of conditioned for it. My coat of armor is pretty thick so I learned what to say and what not to say and the battles that I decide to choose to fight. Most of the time I just stay silent and let people speculate."

Disney/Pixar's animated film 'Onward' is banned in multiple Middle East markets due to a lesbian reference by male-identified screenwriter Lena Waithe, 35.

In the movie, about two teenage elf brothers in a mythical world, there is a passing reference to a lesbian relationship uttered by Waithe's genderless character, a purple unicorn cyclops officer named Specter.

Middle East censors objected to the line: "It's not easy being a new parent - my girlfriend's daughter got me pulling my hair out, okay?"

Waithe's animated cyclops officer made history as Disney's first openly homosexual character, according to Deadline.com.

But censors in Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have banned the film from showing in any theaters within their territories.

Russia, which is notoriously anti-homosexual, changed the word "girlfriend" to "partner" and allowed the movie to show in theaters.

Onward earned $2 million in Thursday previews in North America, according to Deadline.com. The movie tracking $37 million - $40 million in opening weekend ticket sales.

Lena Waithe (right) has reportedly left her life partner Alana Mayo for another woman. According to gossip blog Bossip.com, a source confirmed Waithe, 35, and Harriet actress Cynthia Erivo (left) are living together.

Waithe's publicist announced the split in a statement to People.com on Wednesday.

"After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways," the statement read. "We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time."

Erivo, 33, made no secret about her love for the "Queen & Slim" Waithe in social media posts.

In one photo, the actress wrote: "I finally found my sis. Lena you are absolutely everything. You are perfection. What a meeting of minds, glad to have you in my life! Stuck like glue !!! SHINE QUEEN SHINE!!"

The British actress, who was born under the Capricorn star sign, has earned Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for her portrayal of abolitionist Harriet Tubman in the biopic Harriet (2019).

Erivo was previously involved in a relationship with British actor Dean John-Wilson. After dating three years, she dumped him for actor Mario Martinez.

Like she did with Waithe, she expressed her love for Martinez in an Instagram post on Valentine's Day 2019.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Erivo gushed:

"He chased me," she said. "The last time, I was not with my ex anymore -- except this time he did not ask. He just walked up to me and gave me a kiss."

Friends say Waithe pursued Erivo because she gets a thrill from turning out heterosexual women. The male-identified lesbian reportedly told one source, "[Cynthia's] man can't do what I can do for her."

Erivo moved on quickly with Waithe when she opened Hollywood doors and helped her score coveted acting roles.

Waithe was raised by her single mother and grandmother on the South Side of Chicago. Her parents divorced when she was only 3. She never knew her father.

Lena Waithe's same-sex marriage ended because, sources say, she couldn't stop cheating and buying designer handbags and shoes for side chicks.

The 35-year-old Chicago native announced the end of her same-sex marriage in a joint statement with her ex, Alana Mayo. The two women tied the knot in a San Francisco courthouse in August.

"After careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways," the statement read. "We have nothing but support for one another and ask that you respect our privacy during this time."

Sources exclusively tell lovebscott.com that their relationship was on the rocks long before they tied the knot because Waithe could not stop cheating.

Waithe was raised by her single mother and grandmother on the South Side of Chicago. Her parents divorced when she was only 3. The male-identified lesbian never knew her father.

Twitter cannot get enough of the lesbian drama:
