Last night’s episode of VH1’s Basketball Wives: LA was the standard fare of fake friends, fake lunch dates, and manufactured arguments. In addition to the familiar faces from the past 2 seasons, Jackie Christie, Draya Michele, and Malaysia Pargo, VH1 hired Brandi Maxiell, the wife of Jason Maxiell, Sundy Carter (Jackie’s “new” friend), and Brittish Williams (the fiancee of Lorenzo Gordon who plays overseas) to add some spice into the script.

4 NFL players to come out

Brendon Ayanbadejo, who was cut by the Baltimore Ravens, still praises the organization for “laying the groundwork” for gay players to come out of the closet.

The Ravens terminated the linebacker’s contract Thursday. But the married father-of-2 praised the Ravens for supporting his self-appointed role as the NFL spokesman for gay marriage.

Once again a celebrity has been forced to apologize for expressing his opinion on the subject of homosexuality.

Yesterday, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver, 25, caused a national furor when he said something to the effect that gay NFL players were not welcomed in the san Francisco 49ers locker room.
