Rappers have a love/hate relationship going with their tour DJs. A DJ can either bring the noise or bring the curtains down on a show if they mess up the tracks during a rap concert. On Thursday, Lil Wayne abruptly ended his concert at Nova Southeastern University and stalked off the stage when the DJ messed up a track off Weezy’s mixtape, Sorry 4 the Wait 2, an apology to his fans for the delay in the release his album Tha Carter IV.
UPDATE: Police confirm the call was a hoax. SWAT have searched the whole house and found no indication of any shooting, and are now leaving (because lunchtime). (via Miss Info)

Scorned and ridiculed rapper and music producer T-Pain is back with a new song called “Let Me Thru”, featuring Lil Wayne and minus the tags from an earlier version. Listening to T-Pain rap with such authority on this track makes one wonder why he even used auto tune as a vocal crutch in the first place.
