Lil Wayne Plans to Retire After ‘Carter 5′ Album
It looks like our prayers have been answered: rapper Lil Wayne, 30, plans to retire after he releases his final solo album, Carter V, reports Rap-Up.com.
“I want to retire after the Carter V, which I hope would be my last album,” he said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday.
Weezy said he plans to spend “quality time” with his 4 kids including Reginae, his 14-year-old daughter with former wife and reality TV personality Toya Wright.
Wayne has plans to release other albums prior to the release of Carter V including Like Father, Like Son 2 with Birdman.
His well-publicized health problems also play a part in Lil Wayne’s retirement.
He said Miami heat star LeBron James reached out to him during his latest hospitalization for recurrent seizures. But he doesn’t plan on attending any Miami Heat games if the NBA Finals returns to Miami where he owns a home.
“They did tell me that I’m allowed back whenever I want, but I don’t think they want me there, so I won’t make it hard on either of us,” he said.
Weezy also addressed his comments about sleeping with Chris Bosh’s wife (“I was too turnt up that night”) and his love for skateboarding.

I admit I didn’t know who Skylar Diggins was until rapper Lil Wayne started lusting after her on his Twitter page last year.
Instead of being totally grossed out by a gremlin lusting after her, Diggins was actually flattered by the attention.
Anyway, I had no idea how loyal (and rude) Diggins’ fans were (I didn’t even know she had fans). One irate fan was so incensed by yesterday’s post on Skylar bragging about her gift from Jay Z that she emailed me a nasty letter.
The letter tickled me because the fan assumes that I give a rat’s a** that Diggins has a new Mercedes Benz. My 2004 Jetta may not be sitting on dubs, but it’s paid for.

Future Abandons Lil Wayne’s America’s Most Wanted Tour
When Lil Wayne hits the road on July 9th with rappers T.I. and 2 Chainz for the 40-city ‘America’s Most Wanted’ tour, rapper Future will not be with them.
“I haven’t been on the road in a minute,” Weezy told MTV News on May 3. “I’m ready to get back out there and I’m going out there with Future and ‘em, and they’re going to obviously take over; I’m just playing the back field,” he said.
That same day, PepsiCo announced it was dropping Lil Wayne (and the tour) from a sponsorship contract due to offensive lyrics in one of his songs.
