Just a few months ago, actress Eva Pigford Marcille basked in the glow of Dopamine as she awaited her first baby with a man who many suspect bat for the other team.
The beautiful America’s Top Model winner, who once enjoyed life as an in-demand lipstick lesbian, was unlucky at love until she met McCall.

Washed up NBA player Lamar Odom was seen arriving at Los Angeles International Airport before boarding a flight to play professional basketball for 2 months in Spain. It must be humiliating for Odom to go from playing with the LA Lakers to marrying one of the Kardashians and now playing overseas with the other ex-NBA scrubs. Odom married Khloé Kardashian in September 2009. Kardashian filed for divorce soon after the Dopamine faded. Still in denial and unable to let go, Lamar wears his wedding ring, and also still refers to Khloé as his wife. He also mentions to anyone who will listen that Bruce and Kris Jenner are his biggest supporters. Lamar still doesn't get it that he was used by the Kardashians and discarded like curbside trash.

Pop singer Ciara Princess Harris, 28, and her short term boyfriend, Nayvadius D. Wilburn, aka Future, 29, are engaged to be married. This news comes as no surprise for two reasons: Ciara is rumored to be pregnant with Future's 3rd child, and Ciara is a love addict.
"If I'm Dreaming I Don't Want To Wake Up..Aaaaaahhh!!!:)" Ciara tweeted Sunday.
Like most women, Ciara confuses Dopamine addiction for Love. When the Dopamine fumes fade in less than a year, she and Future will probably wonder what they saw in each other.
Dopamine addicts are easy to spot: they are the women who speed through relationships and marry quickly without allowing nature to take its natural course.
These women believe they are entitled to be loved and entitled to be married because they are special.

After months of rumors that rapper Wiz Khalifa, 24, and media personality Amber Rose, 28, were engaged, Wiz finally popped the question -- and fittingly, he made the announcement on his Twitter page. Amber and Wiz both have addictive personalities. So we all know how this one will end. If you haven't read my post on Love vs. Dopamine, click here.
From MTV Style blog:
All together now: Awww. Wiz Khalifa proposed to girlfriend Amber Rose mere hours ago, and according to @RealWizKhalifa's Twitter, she said yes! While we don't know many details of the proposal just yet, Wiz posted an Instagram pic of the engagement ring, and to put it lightly, we are BLOWN AWAY. First off, good job Wiz! This rock is basically as classy as it gets. Amber is sporting a 4-prong oval diamond sparkler on her light-pink stiletto-tipped fingers with a rose gold band. (Oh, HA, we get it. Rose gold for Amber Rose. Nice touch, Wiz.) We think this is the perfect ring for Amber's all-out glam style—even when she dresses down she's got the best beauty game to boot. Now it's only a matter of time before the wedding deets start slipping out. We can't wait to see what she wears on her wedding day!
Most of us have that one friend who seems to fall in love as easily as he or she changes their underwear.
She's the one who calls you every time she's met "The One" -- and she wants to share the exciting news with you -- again. Your friend has run through literally a hundred men. All the rest were "losers," she says, "but this guy is different. He understands me."
Before you know it, she's already planning her dream wedding to a guy she met just one week ago. She uses language such as, 'I met a new guy... he swept me off my feet!,' 'I LOVE him!,' 'He's so hawt!,' 'I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM!'
One of the reasons why your friend falls so hard for every hawt guy she meets, is because she is flying high off a dopamine rush. Your friend has what psychologists refer to as an addictive personality.
Addictive personalities are easy to spot: they're the ones with cigarette butts dangling from their lips every time you see them. They can't stop drinking or put down that weed, and they can play video games nonstop for hours on end without stopping to take a bite to eat.
Dopamine is the primary chemical in the brain that causes addictive personalities.
Basically, dopamine brightens and highlights our connections with the world around us, says David Goldman, Ph.D., a neuro-scientist with the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. "It's essential for associating something that happens with the feeling of pleasure." In other words, it reinforces behaviors that make us feel good. Source
