‘Scandal’ fan Gabrielle Union posted this photo of herself and NBA star Dwyane Wade on her Instagram page yesterday. She wrote in the caption: “Best part of date night … Racing home to watch #Scandal #Gladiatorsstandup #MamaPopeLives #HesSeriousAboutHisScandalTime” Wade is a good man. Men don’t like being rushed through dinner so their fiancĂ©es can get home to watch a TV show.

Mary J Blige and Emma Stone

R&B Diva Mary J Blige, pictured above left with actress Emma Stone, was surrounded by untold riches and wealth at the 2013 Peace, Love & A Cure Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation Benefit at a private residence in Cresskill, NJ on Tuesday, May 21.

In February, Uncle Sam hit Blige with a massive $3.4 million tax lien.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West

Music producer Kanye West, 35, begged the paparazzi to stop shouting questions at his pregnant bestie Kim Kardashian, 32, while house hunting in Beverly Hills, California today. As you know, Kim was royally dissed by fashion maven Anna Wintour who cropped Kim’s photo out of the 2013 Met Gala highlight gallery on Vogue magazine’s website. Wintour was angry at Kim for wearing a simply horrid dress to her MEt Gala. It was the first (and last) time Wintour invited Kim to attend.

Mary J. Blige

R&B singer Mary J. Blige struggled to stay awake during the Los Angeles Lakers vs Brooklyn Nets game in the Staples Center in LA Tuesday. The 41-year-old “My Life” singer was spotted yawning and nodding off while sitting at court side. The Lakers defeated the Brooklyn Nets by the final score of 95-90 in their first game under a new head coach. Mike D’Antoni was hired to replace departing coach Mike Brown who was unceremoniously fired after the Lakers started the 2012-13 season with a dismal 1-4 record.

Add Mary J Blige’s name to the long list of celebrities who blame their management for mismanaging their money. The aging R&B star is being sued by TD bank for a $250,000 loan that Mary and her foundation has neglected to pay back.

Blige’s Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) took out the loan back in June 2011. So far the foundation has paid back a mere $368.33, less than seven percent of the total loan.

The bank filed the suit this month to recoup the $250,000, plus late fees and costs.

It sounds like Mary used the foundation to take out a personal loan to pay her rumored mounting debts, and now she can’t afford to pay the loan back. She needs a hit record.

As most of you know, NBA star LeBron James has been busy promoting his new basketball film titled “More Than A Game.” The soundtrack release party was held last night in NYC at Marquee.

Mandingo rapper Akon was there

So was the always elegantly coiffed Mary J. Blige and her husband Kendu (not pictured)

Teyana Taylor’s name was misspelled in the caption, indicating that the paparazzi don’t know why she’s a celebrity either.

Singer/songwriter Ester Dean has a song on the soundtrack, the title of which escapes me. Hopefully I’ll be able to remember the next song she puts out or she’ll be put in the same category as “Tiana” Taylor.

According to Fox Television, comedienne and TV talk show host Ellen Degeneres will replace Paula Abdul as the 4th judge on American Idol.

Abdul walked off the show last month following a dispute with AI producers over her demands for a bigger cut of the show’s profits in her paycheck. The producers didn’t call her bluff and Abdul found herself outside in the cold.

“DeGeneres will sit alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi and offer her own unique perspective to the contestants throughout the competition,” Fox television said in a statement.

Degeneres will begin her stint as 4th judge after the audition rounds, which has been featuring temporary celebrity judges such as Mary J. Blige, Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers and Victoria “Posh” Beckham.

“I’m going to have a day job and a night job,” DeGeneres said during a taping of her Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday when she made the surprise announcement.

I don’t watch AI at all, but it seems to me that Ellen cracking jokes will be an odd fit for the show.

Michael Jackson’s older brother Jermaine is busy trying to salvage his Michael Jackson Tribute concert in Vienna after online media floated rumors that the two biggest names on the lineup won’t appear.

According to to Reuters, Jermaine, 54, confirms that Mary J. Blige will be busy at a fashion event in Italy that same day. But he claims she will fly in to perform the second half of the concert, which is scheduled for Sept. 26.

We already know that Chris Brown is a convicted felon who probably can’t leave the country without permission from his probation officer. But Jermaine says, “He wants to be here. It’s just up to what he’s going through with his court case right now. “He’s definitely going to be here.”

Jackson also denied rumors that his family refuse to throw their full support behind the tribute concert.

“I invited my mother, I invited my brothers and sisters as well,” he said during a news conference in London. “I am not happy with the talk being said in the press about the support isn’t there. My mother from the very start supported this.”

Of course he’s referring to TMZ’s report that his mother, Katherine Jackson, and brothers question why Jermaine is holding a tribute concert in a city that has no connection to Michael.
