A young college student discovered that racism is alive and well in high end retailing. Trayvon Christian is suing Barney’s Department store and the NYPD for violating his rights after the retailer accused him of credit card fraud.
Christian, 19, went to the Madison Avenue Barney’s in NY to purchase a Ferragamo belt after spotting his favorite rapper, Juelz Santana, wearing the expensive accessory. Christian saved his money by working extra shifts at his part-time job. He was finally able to purchase the luxury $349 Salvatore Ferragamo belt, which he paid for with a debit card in his name.
Loyal reader Bird requested today’s Morning Wood featuring model/actor Redaric Williams. The 32-year-old Michigan born, 6-foot-1 actor is also an author and musician. He is best known for his role as Tyler Michaelson on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. Redaric has 7 siblings including his twin sister who is 1 minute older than him. In college he was given the nickname “Red”. Don’t get too excited about this one, ladies. There are rumors that he bats for the other team.

NY Knicks star Tyson Chandler is featured in a fashion layout in the April 2013 issue of GQ magazine with his son Tyson II.
An Instagram user uploaded a photo of the upcoming cover of GQ magazine’s February issue featuring singer Beyonce. The scantily dressed Beyonce teases GQ’s male demographic with a peek at her silicone filled breasts under a cut-off sports jersey. She wears a just barely there zippered bikini bottom. Bey is scheduled to take the stage during the halftime of Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans on Feb. 3. The cover could be fake, so wait for the official word from GQ before you make a rush out to your local magazine stand.
