Confirmed: Monica and Shannon Brown Expecting a Baby
R&B Diva Monica Brown is expecting a baby with her husband, NBA star Shannon Brown, according to a source close to the singer’s camp.
The baby will be the first for the couple who met in June 2010 on Monica’s video shoot for her single “Love All Over Me.” Monica, 32, has two sons, Romelo, 5, and Lil Rocko, 7, from a previous relationship with music producer and rapper Rodney “Rocko” Hill.
Shannon, 27, also has a son, Shannon Christopher Brown, from a previous relationship.

Rap mogul T.I. and his wife Tameka Tiny Harris, stars of popular hit reality TV show “The Family Hustle”, were spotted out and about in Bel Air, California on Sunday. T.I. and Tameka were on the west coast on business. So they missed seeing their daughter Zonnique Pullins, 17, going to her first prom with music producer Rocko Da Don’s oldest son, Ramone Malik Hill, 17.
Kelly Rowland, Monica, KeKe Wyatt, SWV Team Up for ‘Yell Confidence’ Campaign
R&B Divas Monica Brown, Kelly Rowland, SWV and KeKe Wyatt have joined forces to promote the ‘Yell Confidence’ public service announcement and campaign.
According to Singersroom.com, rappers Mc Lyte, Trina and Spinderella are also putting together PSA’s to support the campaign to benefit the Saving Our Daughters initiative. Celebrity photographer Derek Blanks worked with Rowland to hone her portion of the PSA.
The Yell Confidence campaign brings awareness to domestic violence in the black community.
