T.I. Hosts Black Panther Screening in Atlanta

On Tuesday, Walmart and Marvel Studios presented an advance screening for the much-anticipated comic book superhero film Black Panther at Regal Hollywood Theater in atlanta.

Rapper T.I. brought out his children -- Major, 9, King, 13, Domani, 16, Messiah, 18, and baby Heiress, 1. The rap boss gave away 250 tickets to the screening at Walmart off Cascade Road on Monday.

Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan and Danai Gurira appeared to be overwhelmed by the crush of paparazzi at Good Morning America and the Build Series Event promoting their new movie Black Panther in New York City on Monday. The movie comes out on Friday.

Kendrick Lamar

Rapper Kendrick Lamar faces allegations of copyright infringement by an African artist who alleges he misappropriated her copyrighted artwork for his music video, "All the Stars".

On Saturday, a lawyer for Lina Iris Viktor, a British-Liberian artist, sent a letter to Lamar and label head, Anthony Tiffith at Top Dawg Entertainment, detailing the copyright violation of a painting in her series "Constellations."

Toni Braxton and Birdman at Lifetime Premiere of Faith Under Fire

Power couple Toni Braxton and Bryan "Birdman" Williams attended the New York screening of the Lifetime movie Faith Under Fire: The Antoinette Tuff Story on Tuesday. Toni plays Antoinette Tuff, the DeKalb County public school bookkeeper who calmly talked down a mentally deranged teenage gunman and prevented a school massacre in 2013.

Tuff was hailed as a hero and the movie is based on her memoir, “Prepared for a Purpose”, which she wrote in 2014.

Amy Schumer

Mo'Nique continues her public dispute with Netflix over pay disparities and gender and race inequality. Over the weekend, the 50-year-old comedienne called for a boycott of the online streaming giant after she claims she was offered $500,000 for a standup comedy special -- a fraction of what Netflix pays comedians such as actress Amy Schumer (who is not funny at all) and Chris Rock.

Comedienne Wanda Sykes also criticized Netflix for paying her pennies compared to what men and Caucasian comics receive.

A frail-looking Robert De Niro was assisted out of a car by a caretaker as he arrived on the set of the film The Irishman in New York City on Monday. The 74-year-old actor hobbled on forearm crutches as he arrived to film a scene with Anna Paquin. The film, directed by Martin Scorsese, is based on the 2004 book I Heard You Paint Houses. De Niro plays a mob hitman in the flick.

The South Coast premiere of "The Fate of The Furious”, aka Fast & Furious 8, was held at SCAD Theater in Atlanta on Tuesday, April 4. The film's stars in attendance included Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges, left, and Tyrese "Chocolate Ty" Gibson.

The movie's other stars, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron are currently over in Europe attending premieres and screenings.
