NY Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony had no idea his boss was spying on him by deploying high-tech, sensitive microphones to eavesdrop on his conversations.

NBA League sources confirmed to the New York Post that Knicks owner James Dolan ordered two technicians to hold high-tech, sensitive microphones at opposite ends of the Madison Square Garden court to record all conversations by Anthony and the other players around him.

Dolan took action in the wake of Anthony’s one-game suspension following a verbal altercation between Anthony and the Boston Celtics’ star Kevin Garnett that spilled off the court last week.

Don’t ask me how I know this but reality TV star La La Vazquez and her NY Knick husband, Carmelo Anthony, are headed for divorce court. Friends say La La has been living the life of a single woman after separating from Anthony last year. Insiders say La La is keeping herself busy by focusing all of her attention on her son, Kiyan, and filming the 3rd season of her reality TV show, La La’s Full Court Life, which premieres in February. La La recently returned to her old stomping grounds in Atlanta, and tongues were wagging about a certain chick in La La’s entourage who she couldn’t take her eyes off.

It was hard to ignore singer Rihanna shamelessly draping herself all over her former lover Chris Brown during the NY Knicks vs LA Lakers game at the Staples Center Tuesday. Rihanna, who was holidaying in her native Barbados with friends and family, jetted to Brown’s side on Christmas day — despite rumors that Brown hooked back up with his long-suffering girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

It doesn’t matter how many photos Rihanna takes with Brown, everyone can see how desperate, needy and clingy she is. She knows that Brown is using her to revive his failing career but she doesn’t care, because Brown provides the vital source of Narcissistic Supply that she craves.

Rap mogul Jay Z, 42, patiently explained the difference between a free throw (in basketball) and a free kick (in soccer) to his clueless wife Beyonce. The singer looked so lost as she sat at court side with Michael Strahan, Nicole Murphy, and other celebrities for the much-anticipated match up between the thuggish NY Knicks and Jay Z’s Brooklyn Nets at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday. Jay Z’s Nets won the showdown by a score of 96-89. The Jigga owns a miniscule percentage of the former NJ Nets, which gives him bragging rights over other NY area rappers.
