Stabbings at Pennsylvania school

A 16-year-old male student is in police custody after he allegedly went on a stabbing rampage at a Pennsylvania school this morning.

Police and emergency crews responded to calls of multiple stabbings at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, NBC News reports.

20 students were injured in the attacks. 2 of the students are listed in critical condition at Forbes Regional Hospital.

Three adults have been arrested and charged with whipping an 11-year-old boy and posting a video of the vicious beating on Facebook.

The boy's mother, Demitria Latrion Powell, 28, his godmother, Uteas Michelle Taylor, 42, and Stefon Tirrell Felton, the godmother’s 40-year-old boyfriend, were charged Tuesday with third degree child abuse, conspiracy to commit child abuse, and child abuse committed in the presence of another child, CBS Detroit reports.

Trick Daddy Arrested for Drug Possession

Trick Daddy, the rapper who discovered bisexual rapper Trina, was arrested on drug and weapon charges after police conducted a search of his Miramar, Florida home. The hip-hop star and convicted felon, whose real name is Maurice Young, was charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of cocaine, and driving with a suspended license. Because of his string of prior felony convictions, the 40-year-old isn't allowed to possess guns. Trick was booked into Broward County Jail on Thursday (April 3) and and later bonded out. According to the arrest report, drug squad officers had the rapper's home under surveillance that morning and approached him as he attempted to leave in a vehicle. Officers searched the residence where they uncovered illegal substances.

Suspect Arrested in Missing Stripper Case

Gwinnett police have arrested a suspect in connection with a missing 26-year-old woman who was last seen Saturday morning.

Police say Angela Rabotte dropped off her 3-year-old daughter with a friend before attending a party in Atlanta Friday night. She was last seen at the Steeplechase Apartments in unincorporated Norcross about 6 a.m., the Atlanta Journal-Constition reports.

Rabotte, a popular stripper, went by the stage name Climax. Her friends and family took to social media over the weekend to get the word out about her disappearance. The father of Rabotte's daughter organized a search in the wooded area near the Steeplechase Apartments on Sunday. But there was no sign of the petite dancer.

Pittsburgh Cops Respond to 27 Urgent 911 Calls from the Same Residence

Pittsburgh police have a mystery on their hands. Over the last five weeks, cops have responded to 27 urgent 911 calls they say appear to be coming from inside the home of A.J. Richardson, a former candidate for the mayor of Pittsburgh.

Richardson insists the calls aren't coming from his house, according to CBS affiliate KDKA2. By law the police can not ignore the 911 calls. A constant police presence outside the home at 3056 Bergman St. has become a normal occurrence to Richardson's neighbors.

Police arrest passenger after woman fatally shot on I-20

Police have arrested a male suspect who they say was a passenger in a car when a woman was fatally shot during rush hour alongside Interstate 20 on Monday.

Tyana Boyd, 25, of Atlanta, was shot once in her car on the shoulder of I-20W near I-285 south. Boyd was transported to Grady Memorial hospital in downtown Atlanta, where she was pronounced dead.

Corey Jones, 28, Boyd's passenger, was taken into custody and charged with murder and aggravated assault late Monday night, WSB TV reports.

Woman shot in hair salon

A woman was shot and killed inside a Dallas, GA hair salon earlier today, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Police say the shooting happened at Julia's Hair Salon on Dallas-Acworth Highway in the Crossroads shopping center on Monday. A male suspect is in custody. He was apprehended by Cobb and Paulding county sheriff's deputies who were eating lunch at a nearby Subways restaurant.

Police did not say what the suspect's connection was to the dead woman.

A salon client with her hair still in rollers was too shaken to speak to a reporter. She was seen leaving a nearby Taco Bell and left the scene with a family member. Black hair salons are normally closed on Mondays in Atlanta.

Dallas is about 26 miles northwest of Atlanta.

The LA Times is reporting troubled singer Chris Brown was taken into custody in Malibu today by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies on a warrant connected to his 2009 arrest on domestic assault charges involving ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Last month, Brown had been ordered to spend another 90 days in a rehab facility for anger management and drug abuse treatment. But Brown, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, reportedly did not return to the facility as ordered.

Leah Kritzer missing A 14-year-old California girl went missing after walking the family dog, ktla.com reports. Leah Kritzer vanished after taking the family dog, Popeye, for a walk in Manhattan Beach on Sunday. Her parents became aware of her disappearance when a neighbor found Popeye roaming free.

“So went out to see her and there was our dog with the leash on and our daughter wasn’t there and she hasn’t come home since,” said her father Joe Kritzer, an attorney.

Leah's parents believe she was taken by a man she met on the dating website OKCupid. Apparently Leah was promiscuous and had met other men off the website.

The father of one of the two Houston women found dead next to a dumpster last week has been arrested and charged with 2 counts of tampering with evidence.

James Cosby, 45, father of 24-year-old Britney Cosby (above right), was taken into custody Thursday. The bodies of Britney and her girlfriend, Crystal Jackson, 24, were found next to a dumpster behind a convenience store in Port Bolivar, Texas last Friday morning.

The murders occurred in Cosby's home, ABC13 in Houston reports.

A 21-year-old model/singer from Detroit was arrested Tuesday in the stabbing death of a Dalton, GA store clerk, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The AJC reports Skyy Raven Marie Mims was arrested around 5 p.m. Tuesday in Bartow County.

She was charged with murder, and booked into the Whitfield County jail.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says Mims stabbed 37-year-old Dahyabhai Chaudhari at Kanku’s Express in Dalton on Sunday night. Chaudhari is a citizen of India who had only been in Atlanta a few weeks.

Another black woman with low self-esteem issues has died following complications from illegal black market butt injections.

The NY Post reports Tamira Mobley, 28, was charged with manslaughter and assault in the death of Tamara Blaine, 22, who received butt injections from Mobley at a seedy motel on July 8.

A worker at the Liberty Hotel Inn on 10th Avenue hotel called 911 after witnessing a woman experiencing convulsions.

An Oregon man was forced to barricade himself in his bedroom and call 911 after the family cat attacked his baby then turned on him.

"[The cat] trying to attack us — he's very hostile. He's at our door; he's charging us," Lee Palmer told the 911 dispatcher. "When I leave this room to let the police in, I'm going to have to fight this cat."

An elderly Alabama woman with Alzheimer's Disease lived with her dead husband's body for about a month, NBC News reports.

According to the county coroner, Jessie Claude Kirby, 75, of Decatur died of natural causes.

Police made the macabre discovery during a welfare check after family members of Kirby and his wife, Doris, 78, notified police that they had not heard from the couple in months.

No bond has been set for Hot 107.9 DJ Beestroh who was shot by DeKalb County police early Monday following a shootout at a local nightclub.

Beestroh, whose real name is Ronald Robinson, 39, was booked into the DeKalb County Jail, authorities told the AJC Thursday.

Beestroh can be heard on weekends on Hot 107.9 and he spins at the Velvet Room where the shootout took place. At the time of the shooting, he was deejaying at rapper Rick Ross' album listening party hosted by Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs.

A popular radio DJ has been charged with aggravated assault following an alleged "shootout" with DeKalb police at a local nightclub early Monday.

Ronald Robinson, 39, aka DJ Beestroh, was shot in the lower abdomen by police at the Velvet Room, according to a source who witnessed the melee. Robinson is in stable condition, DeKalb police Capt. Stephen Fore told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Beestroh was spinning at a listening party for rapper Rick Ross, hosted by Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs at the Velvet Room, a nightclub in the 3300 block of Chamblee Tucker Road.

“For whatever unknown reasons, it appears that this DJ who was involved in the shooting with some others turned and shot at the officers, and that’s when they returned fire,” said DeKalb Public Safety Director Cedric Alexander, according to the AJC. But friends (who were at the scene) are telling a different story.

A popular local DJ was wounded during a shootout with DeKalb police during a listening party for rapper Rick Ross at a local nightclub on Sunday.

HOT 107.9 DJ Beestroh was shot by police when he turned his gun on them in the parking lot outside the Velvet Room nightclub in the 3300 block of Chamblee Tucker Road, the Atlanta Journal-Constition reports. Beestroh was arrested before being transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg.

The listening party for Ross, an Atlanta resident, was hosted by rap mogul Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs.

A Georgia teenager is dead at the hands of a female cop with an itchy trigger finger.

An attorney representing the family of Christopher Roupe, 17, said the boy was shot dead by one of two Euharlee police officers who arrived at his home to serve an arrest warrant on his father on the night of Feb. 14.

Attorney Cole Law said Roupe was in his bedroom preparing to watch a movie when there came a knock on his bedroom door.

The female cop told investigators that the teen answered the door with what appeared to be a gun in his hand, Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Sherry Lang told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Michael Johnson, a 22-year-old college student and former wrestler, has been charged with five felony counts of exposing partners to HIV. Johnson is accused of maliciously engaging in unprotected sex with multiple male sex partners despite his HIV status. Prosecutors had no problem building a case against Johnson, whose Instagram username is Tiger Mandingo. They found 32 videos of his sexcapades with gay or bi men on his laptop.

SWATTING incident near Usher's home

Police say the person who made a hoax 911 call to Alpharetta police on Thursday reported three people, including a child, had been shot inside a residence in the posh Country Club of the South.

The caller also demanded $30,000 ransom for a woman he said was being held hostage inside the home, according to a Johns Creek police incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal Constitution Friday.

The caller claimed he was calling from inside a home in the 7000 block of Carlisle Lane. According to the incident report, “no additional information was obtained as the call was dropped," during the transfer from Alpharetta police to Johns Creek police, which has jurisdiction.

Johns Creek police immediately dispatched multiple well-armed police units to the subdivision that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown once called home.

Shonté Renee, the girlfriend of slain DJ Nando, opened up about his death in an exclusive interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Fernando William Barnes, 38, was fatally shot early Tuesday morning as he arrived home from work at Magic City strip club in downtown Atlanta.

Renee told the AJC she was upstairs in the couple's Morrow, GA home when she heard "gunshots" outside. She explained that her boyfriend of 2 years always cautioned her to stay inside whenever she heard gunshots.
