On Saturday, reality TV star Draya Michele, actor Quincy Brown (Star), and Sean Combs' firstborn son Justin Combs made a little extra cash hosting Draya's birthday party at Mr. Rugg's SL Lounge in Atlanta.
Draya, who turns 33 today, is best known for her 5-year stint on Basketball Wives: L.A., even though she wasn't actually married to a basketball player.
Earlier this month Quincy Brown debuted off his new French braids hairstyle during a red carpet interview.
Brown, 24, is good friends with troubled singer Chris Brown.
So it's no surprise that Chris Brown is now wearing his short cropped hair in a similar French braids hairstyle as his close friend Quincy.
Quincy Brown has a role in Lee Daniels' upcoming scripted TV series.
He is the son of former fashion model Kim Porter and R&B singer Al B. Sure!.

I read your post and the comments on the independent movie 'Brotherly Love' which I had the pleasure of viewing last night. I must say everything I read about this movie on your post was soooo off. First off it is not a comedy by no means nor is it a straight to DVD movie. I will admit I went into the theater thinking it would be some straight kiddie garbage which is what we always think when we hear independent and see a young cast with some newcomers.
Well I was totally surprised at how great this movie was. The plot is on FLEEK 10,000%, the acting was great and the film quality looks like a big budget film. It's funny, dramatic, a tear jerkier, suspenseful, about life's choices and so relatable to today's issues that you'll be as shocked as we all were in the theater. Also KeKe did a great job in this movie and I think all of the young ladies will enjoy the acting & eye candy of Quincy, Romeo, JJ, Eric and Cory, who's so gangster in this film that his sex appeal went up 100,000%!!!! Lol!!! He killed his role. It was also nice to see Macy Gray and Malik Yoba in the film.
I truly suggest everyone of all ages go see this movie. I guarantee you will not be disappointed AT ALL!!!! I saw it for free last night but plan on going to see it again with some friends on opening day because it was that good and I feel we need to support more independent movies so they can get financed and tell our stories in the right way just as this film did. THE ENDING OF THIS FILM IS SO SICK THAT IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!!!!! THE ENTIRE THEATER WAS GOING CRAZY, CRAZY, CRAZY!!! WE WERE IN TOTAL AWE. SMH!!!
Thanks for the post and the great pictures.
The stars turned out Tuesday night for the Atlanta premiere of the comedy film Brotherly Love, starring Keke Palmer, Cory Hardrict, Romeo Miller, Faizon Love, Malik Yoba, Teyana Taylor (in a very minor role), and the very talented Sheneka Adams in a non-speaking role.
The fictional film is about the life of the nation's number one high school basketball player Sergio Taylor (Eric D. Hill, Jr.) as he handles fame while trying to avoid the pitfalls of Philly street life.

Former supermodel Naomi Campbell, 44, strolled down the runway during her Fashion for Relief Charity Fashion Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2015 at Lincoln Center in New York. FOX TV's musical drama 'Empire' is smashing TV ratings records, and every up-and-coming artist wants their time to shine on the show. Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson stars in 'Empire' about a dysfunctional family running a hip hop record label. But there's one artist you won't see on 'Empire' -- if entertainment mogul Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs has his way.
Singer Trey Songz was all smiles as he performed in the Disney World Christmas Parade taping in Florida, despite being implicated in a love triangle that left his ex-girlfriend, singer-dancer Stephanie Moseley, dead. Rapper Earl Hayes shot Moseley multiple times as she was taking a bath. He then turned the gun on himself in the Palazzo East apartment they shared in Los Angeles. Hayes suspected his wife was still creeping with the effeminate Trey Songz, whom many assumed was gay. Splash News reports Songz was onstage at Disney World on the day Moseley was shot to death. Rap mogul Sean Combs proves it's never too early to begin exploiting your children. Combs and one of his baby mamas, Kim Porter, sat with Combs' mother Janice Combs and Kim's son Quincy Brown in the front row at the Swarovski Childrens' Fashion Collection runway show at Industria Studio in NYC on Saturday, Oct. 5. Combs' three daughters twins D'Lila and Jessie, 6, and Chance, 7. The twins will turn 7 in December. Quincy's biological father is former R&B crooner Al B Sure.

“There were a lot of mixed opinions and judgements that surfaced the internet today concerning the kiss i gave my mother on Mother’s Day. I think it deserves a personal response from me…. [May 9th] was Mother’s Day; A special day to celebrate and give thanks to all mothers and mother figures present in our lives. I chose to express my love and devotion to my Mother, not only by presenting her with gifts and verbal means of appreciation, but by sharing my LOVE for her with the WORLD; A KISS!
I come from a warm, loving and close family. It really is a secure feeling to be apart of a caring family, and my Mother is so much apart of the warmth and love that helps us appreciate and enjoy one another. All through the years, I’ve kissed my Mom, my Grandmother, and my Great-Grandmothers………With more kisses to come.”
Hopefully all of my SR moms had a wonderful Mothers Day.
Yesterday I took my mom to Phipps Plaza across the street from Lenox Mall to buy a couple of outfits. I LOVE Phipps Plaza because you can shop and star gaze in peace while avoiding the hordes of young thugs at Lenox Mall wearing saggy jeans with their hair twisted up in multi-color braids.
Of course, when you shop at Phipps, there's always that danger of running into the likes of Tameka Foster who also loves to shop there. I try my best to avoid her because certifiable loons are very unpredictable.
But this post is not about Trampeka Foster.
It's about the "kiss" seen around the world yesterday on Twitter.com. Young Quincy Brown, the spawn of singer-turned-radio jock Al B. Sure and socialite Kim Porter, posted this pic on his Twitter page as a way to honor his mom on Mothers Day.
But the pic had unintended consequences on Twitter. Instead of giving people a warm, fuzzy feeling inside, it set off red flags.
In my opinion, Quincy is too old to be kissin' on his mother like that. A peck on the cheek would have been more age appropriate. But I could be wrong.
