Rapper Young Jeezy was released from a California jail just in time to attend a meet & greet with Power 105.1 Breakfast Club hosted by Street 94.5 radio in Atlanta on Tuesday. Jeezy pled not guilty to charge of possessing an illegal assault rifle last week. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, Hot 107.9's DJ Beestroh returns to the radio airwaves on Saturday for the first time after Hot 107.9 suspended him without pay.

Beestroh will be on the air from 2-6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays starting this weekend. The 34-year-old DJ was suspended by corporate bigwigs in Washington D.C. after his arrest following a shootout outside Velvet Room nightclub last month.

New Army Hair Regulations Racist, Petition Says

The military's efforts to regulate unkempt Afrocentric hairstyles is drawing flack from natural hair enthusiasts.

The Army's new regulations ban twists, cornrows and dreadlocks or dreads. The Army prepared a poster illustrated with photos of the banned hairstyles in an amendment to Army Regulation 670-1. The new rules go into effect on Monday.

From the mouths of babes. A 14-year-old radio talk show host is blasting homosexuality as a choice people make. Dismissing the much totuted theory that some babies are born gay, Caiden Cowger says says "people are not born gay no matter what Lady Gaga says."

Calling homosexuality "sickening," Cowger blamed President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden for "indoctrinating" teens and "encouraging" them to be gay. "We've got about 30 teenagers in this county.. that are homosexuals," says Cowger.

The teenager criticized the president for supporting gay marriage. He made the controversial statements during his radio show.
