Bravo Network released the trailer for Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s upcoming Season 7. Apparently cast member Porsha Williams has outlived her usefulness on the scripted TV show. She will only appear in occasional scenes. That’s probably due to the fact that she’s contractually obligated to co-host Dish Nation’s syndicated TV show with radio host Rickey Smiley.
Reality TV personality Apollo Nida is no longer a fugitive from the law. The white collar criminal turned himself in to prison authorities in Lexington, Kentucky early this morning — and get this — a Bravo producer and cameraman were with him.
Demetria McKinney, left, and Claudia Jordan are being recruited to pump life into the stale Real Housewives of Atlanta TV series, according to blogger ATLien of StraightfromtheA.com.
I’ve heard of Jordan (although I have no clue why she’s famous). And while the name McKinney initially escaped me, I am reminded that she is the wonderful actress who played the drug-addled Janine in Tyler Perry‘s House of Payne.
After her recording career fizzled, former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Porsha Williams finally found a job with a steady paycheck coming in. The former television evangelist is the official co-host of a show called Dish Nation.
Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, far left, are preparing to take their stage play, “A Mother’s Love”, on the road this fall.
Now that the federal case against Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Apollo Nida, 35, has ended in a conviction, the focus is shifting to his alleged co-conspirators — one of whom may or may not be his wife, local attorney and RHOA star Phaedra Parks.
Apollo was sentenced to 8 years in prison on Wednesday for conspiring to to commit mail, wire and bank fraud in a complex fraud scheme which spanned over four years and harmed over 50 victims.
Apollo will remain free for another 2 months. But he cannot appeal his conviction due to his plea deal.
Former reality TV cast member Apollo Nida was sentenced to 8 years in a federal prison today. Apollo was given leniency for snitching to the feds about his costars on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Legal experts say Apollo will likely serve half the time.
Last month, a federal judge sentenced Nida’s female accomplice, Gayla St. Julien, to 5 years and 1 month in a federal prison.
