NBA star Paul George, 24, fractured his lower right leg during a USA Basketball scrimmage in Las Vegas on Friday, Aug. 1.

The injury occurred at the end of a fast break when George landed awkwardly and his leg collided into the basket stanchion.

George's gruesome injury is similar to the shearing leg fracture suffered by Louisville Cardinals' Kevin Ware during the 2013 NCAA basketball Tournament. The only difference being George's fractured bone did not protrude through his skin.

Chris Brown attends toy drive at Brooklyn Project in Melrose

Troubled singer Chris Brown was on hand to collect toys at a toy drive at Brooklyn Project on Melrose Avenue on Sunday, Dec. 22. The superstar singer was seen skateboarding with the TMT skate team. He posed for pictures with Lil Romeo, one of the skaters, as well with a huge pile of collected toys. Brown, 24, was allowed to leave his live-in anger management rehab facility to participate in the toy drive.

Chris Brown probation revoked in Rihanna case

A Los Angeles judge on Monday revoked troubled singer Chris Brown's probation in the 2009 Rihanna assault case. The judge cited the assault charge that was filed against Brown in Washington D.C. on Oct. 27. But the judge didn't immediately remand Brown into custody as Brown is reportedly "doing well" in a court-ordered anger management program in Malibu, CA.

Former child star Amanda Bynes is almost unrecognizable in these photos taken 5 days after she was released from a psychological facility. Bynes, 27, was hospitalized in July and diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder after she was arrested for setting fire to a neighbor's driveway in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Bynes was spotted walking 2 dogs near her home. She wore a sweatshirt that read “Gangsta Love,” sunglasses and black leggings.

On Wednesday, Bynes spoke publicly for the first time since being released from rehab. “I am doing very well. I’m doing great, it’s been five days since I got out of rehab," she said.

Chris Brown leaves Washington D.C. Courthouse

On Wednesday a Los Angeles judge ordered troubled singer Chris Brown back into rehab for 3 months after court documents revealed he threw a rock through his mother's car window.

A report from the unnamed rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., disclosed that Brown became outraged during an anger management session with his mother, Joyce Hawkins, who suggested that he remain in rehab a little longer.

Brown, 24, followed his mother out of the facility, picked up a rock and threw it through her window as she drove away from the facility. Brown was kicked out of the facility earlier this week for violating a rule prohibiting him from displaying violent behavior.

Welp, that didn't take long. Troubled singer Chris Brown checked himself out of rehab earlier today, TMZ.com reports.

Brown, who was arrested in D.C. for assaulting a fan nearly 3 weeks ago, entered rehab for anger management issues. At the time, Brown said he was willing to spend 3 months in rehab. But Brown lasted only 16 days.

Coincidentally, Brown launched his new backpack collection today as well.

There has been no firm decision on the expected length of Brown's rehab stay, but an insider close to the 24-year-old singer's camp tells gossip blog TMZ that Brown himself is open to staying in rehab as long as 3 months.
