Tamika Fuller Ludacris

This letter, sent to rapper Ludacris' attorney in August, landed in my email Inbox this morning. The letter was sent by a well-connected insider who begged to remain anonymous.

As you know, rap artist Chris "Ludacris" Bridges accidentally knocked up a longtime friend during a moment of unbridled passion. According to court documents obtained by Hiphopenquirer.com, the woman, Tamika Fuller, demanded that Ludacris buy her a luxury vehicle -- and pay her attorney's retainer fee -- or she was spilling the TEA about their baby.

The contents of the letter have already been made public by TMZ.com. What's interesting about the missive is how it is worded.

Yesterday, actress Vivica A. Fox, 48, broke her silence on her break up with local club promoter Omar "Slimm" White, 28. She admitted she has the tendency to rush into relationships with men who have "a six-pack and a smile."

I reached out to Vivica's ex-fiance Slimm to get his side of the story, and to ask him what he thought about Vivica's interview.

According to Slimm, he walked away from the situation first. In fact, Slimm says that when Vivica gave Sister 2 Sister magazine an interview for the December 2011 cover, she acted as if they were still together.

"Of course you're not going to admit that somebody broke up with you because it would make you look bad," said Slimm.

On allegations that he used Vivica for the fame:

SLIMM: "If I was in it for the fame, I would have kissed her a**. I would have just basically played the game if I was just trying to use her. You want happiness, you don't want to be in it for the wrong reasons because it wouldn't work out. Furthermore, if I was using her for fame then why not play the game and put my pride aside and follow through on tying the knot? The reason being: I'm not that type of man and I refuse to sell myself short for fame."

As some of you may know, singer Kelly Rowland and her manager, Devyne Stephens, parted ways last week. According to an industry insider, Kelly's boyfriend, Tim Weatherspoon, made her fire Devyne.

It seems that Weatherspoon (pictured at right and below with her) didn't get along with Devyne, who celebrated his 40th birthday in grand style last night in Atlanta (more on that later).

"Tim was co-managing Kelly with Devyne," said my source. "If you notice, he's always in pictures with her. A lot of people may not know [he's her boyfriend] because he's more like an average Joe. He's not well-known. But she really loves him."

Kelly has been riding a wave of newfound fame fueled by her #1 hit single, "Motivation", featuring Lil Wayne. Although she is a superstar in the U.K., Kelly wasn't as popular here in the states as she was when she sang backup for Beyoncé in Destiny's Child.

Industry insiders believe Kelly Rowland's renewed popularity in the U.S. is the reason why her boyfriend pushed for Kelly to dump Devyne.

"He wants them to be like Jay Z and Beyonce," said my source, who believes "a little jealousy" may have precipitated Tim's decision.

"That's a battle that Devyne couldn't fight," he said. "He can't go up against that. [Tim] is with Kelly everyday. They sleep together, etcetera."

Four months after giving birth to a premature baby girl, local Atlanta Socialite Monyetta Shaw is expecting again.

This will be the second child for Shaw and R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, who are proud parents of Madilyn Grace Smith. Ne-Yo is hoping for a boy this time, according to a source close to Ne-Yo's camp.

You may recall that Ne-Yo, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr., was duped into believing a boy born in 2005 was his. But subsequent tests revealed the child was not his.

In an August 2010 interview with British tabloid The Sun, Ne-Yo said of Monyetta, "I have a friend. Not a girlfriend. She's carrying my child, but knows I can't commit. She doesn't mind other women."

As for Monyetta, she is living the high life after opening a high end clothing boutique in Buckhead last year with Ne-Yo's money. The boutique has yet to turn a profit. But Monyetta can often be seen steering her Maybach drop top around the Buckhead area with a baby car seat in the back. The luxury automobile has room for 5 additional baby car seats, and sources tell me that Monyetta isn't done dropping babies for Chimere.

By now you've all heard the story about the fisticuffs that took place between comedian Jamie Foxx and his longtime manager Breyon Prescott at a Belvedere Red party earlier this month.

According to an industry insider, who is close to both Jay Z and Jamie Foxx's camps, Jigga came to the rescue of his friend by unofficially blacklisting Prescott at the 2011 Grammy's.

My source tells me that Jay Z gave the order to his people to take Prescott's name off of his Grammy party lists -- and others in the industry followed suit.

Jay Z threw a Roc Nation brunch on the Saturday after the fight, according to my source who attended the brunch. He said when Jay saw that Prescott's name was on the list, he reportedly said, "we don't need people up here who fights their artists. It's not a good look."

Ironically, it was a pre-Grammy fight in 2009 that led to Jay Z imposing a similar blacklist on Chris Brown that nearly destroyed the singer's career after he assaulted his then-girlfriend, and Jay Z protege, Rihanna.

According to the insider, Foxx and Prescott fell out long before the ruckus took place at Club Avalon in Hollywood on Feb. 10. The two men had been friends and business partners since 1994 when Foxx released his first album entitled Peep This.

But in recent years, Jamie bristled at rumors that Breyon was allegedly using his name to make money under the table. "He was taking kickbacks, side deals, alla dat - and now Jamie doesn't want nothing to do with him," said my source in a phone call yesterday.

It seems that Prescott was too "attached" to Foxx -- but not in the way that other blogs have claimed. "He was jealous because Jamie had a better table than he did," said my informant.

Breyon's habit of using Foxx's name to score sexual services from industry groupies also troubled Foxx. The source said Prescott was drunk when they got to fighting at Avalon after Foxx had severed all contact with him.

"When Jamie got Breyon in a headlock, Breyon bit Jamie's finger. Jamie had to get stitches in that finger," said the insider, who went on to say that Foxx is huddling with his attorneys to find a way to get Jamie out of his rock solid contract with Prescott. "I think he's got 3 more albums in that contract with Breyon," the source said.
