On January 20, 2017, Barack Obama and his family will move down the street from the White House into a rented 8,200 square foot Tudor castle in the upscale Kalorama neighborhood.

Michelle Obama

The time is drawing near for President Barack Obama and his family to pack up and move out of the White House.

In an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show on Tuesday, First lady Michelle Obama said her teenage daughters Malia, 18, and Sasha, 15, will have a tough time leaving the White House.

This photo of a young couple heading to their homecoming went viral over the weekend. For some reason people thought this was a photo of 14-year-old first daughter, Sasha Obama. It should be obvious that the girl is not Sasha -- she doesn't even look like Sasha. But that didn't stop the news media from running with it anyway.

Remember the days when the news media were professional and had journalistic standards that were beyond reproach?

Below are my Top 5 reasons why the girl isn't Sasha Obama.

First lady Michelle Obama took her daughters, Sasha, left, 14, and Malia, 16, on a world tour before her husband, American President Barack Obama, turns over the keys to the White House to the incoming president - whoever that may be - in 2016. The gangly ladies sipped afternoon tea with the British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha Cameron at their lovely home at 10 Downing Street in London today. They were accompanied by Michelle's mother Marian Robinson. By the way, billionaire developer Donald Trump announced he is running for president today. But first he has to win the GOP nomination which ain't gonna happen. The Donald loves to waste his millions, doesn't he?

The Obamas Attend Easter Service

President Barack Obama and his well-heeled family -- first lady Michelle Obama and their daughters Malia and Sasha -- attended Sunday's Easter service at the 19th Street Baptist Church, where he also visited the Sunday before his first inauguration in 2009.

The very Reverend Dr. Derrick Harkins oversaw the service -- as he did in 2009.

"Let me just say, to the first family, to the President of the United States, Barack Obama, to the first lady of the United States, and Miss Malia and Sasha, we welcome you," Harkins said, according to a pool reporter at the service.

Michelle Malia and Sasha Obama in China

The first lady Michelle Obama and her daughters Sasha, 12, and Malia, 15, wrapped up their very expensive trip to China (taxpayers will foot the bill for Mrs. Obama's pricey $8,400 per night accommodations at the Westin hotel).

While Mrs. Obama seems to have charmed her way into the hearts of English speaking Chinese citizens, it is the sulky, petulant Sasha who is getting most of the attention from the national media.

Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey

The nation's Capital was buzzing after President Obama and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, returned to D.C. from their 2 week Hawaiian vacation without first lady Michelle Obama, who stayed behind in Hawaii with her bestie Oprah Winfrey.

The Obamas vacationed in Kailua, on the island of Oahu, before the president and his daughters departed the island. Heightened Secret Service activity near Oprah's 11-room, 17-acre estate in Kula, Maui indicated Mrs. Obama was visiting.

Reporters traveling with the Obamas couldn't confirm the visit, but a local told a newspaper Mrs. Obama was still in Hawaii.

President Obama's youngest daughter Sasha Obama, 12, sparked a buying frenzy on the ASOS website when she wore a ASOS unicorn sweater during a basketball game in Maryland on Sunday. The sweater sold out within minutes. And as of today (Friday) the item is still sold out.

Malia and Sasha Obama get Starbucks

President Barack Obama's daughters Malia Obama And Sasha Obama were seen heading to a Starbucks in the SoHo area of New York for ice coffee. On Friday, their father, the president, wrapped up a bus tour of New York to promote his program to lower college costs. The last time we saw Sasha Obama in SoHo, the 12-year-old was dressed in cut off shorts. But this time around, Sasha wore a virginal white dress. I expect to receive another email from the White House over these pictures. My mother is so proud that the White House cares so much about what I write.

MALIA OBAMA PHOTOBOMB

It was an awkward looking kiss to say the least. Maybe that's why President Obama's eldest daughter, Malia, 14, ruined a photo of him kissing First Lady Michelle Obama during the 57th Inauguration ceremonies in DC yesterday (Jan. 21). HuffPost Senior Social Media Editor Kerstin Shamberg took a screen shot of the cute scene while watching CNN. The Obama's youngest daughter Sasha, 11, attempted to take a photo of her parents' odd looking peck on the lips, when Malia ruined the shot by poking her head in front of the camera. Much could be said about that strange peck from a body language standpoint, but I won't go there this morning.

Yesterday I received an email from talk show jock Colonel Ray of NY talk radio 710 KURV. He requested that I call into his show to discuss "the 'backlash racism' against President Obama."

I fully intended to call in and share my thoughts on the subject with the NY audience because you know I'm not shy about speaking up when it comes to Obama. But do you know I completely forgot to call in?

Yes, I'm kicking myself right now. That one call could have opened the door to me getting my own talk radio show. One never knows what opportunities awaits them.

Look at Obama. I'm sure when he was smoking pot and snorting coke in college, he never thought he would one day be president.

In the past, Barack Obama's absence from the White House has helped raise his approval ratings slightly. But his latest extended vacation hasn't helped his approval ratings at all. The way things are going, his next vacation, which begins on Wednesday and ends on Monday, won't do much to lift his ratings out of the cellar either. Maybe it would help if Obama extended his vacation through September?

    From Hot Air blog:

If Barack Obama hoped to gain some breathing room with his vacation, or perhaps even pick up some sympathetic vibe for eulogizing Ted Kennedy on Friday, Rasmussen’s latest poll shows that nothing has changed in the direction of his approval ratings. With one of the three days in Rasmussen’s presidential tracking poll after the wake, Obama has hit his highest level of strong disapproval yet, at 42%. The “passion index” has now hit -10 — not the worst of his term thus far, but certainly not good.

The Obama's continued their vacation today as Vice President Joe Biden represented Obama at the funeral of Eunice Kennedy Shriver in Hyannis, MA. Obama will hold another fake town hall meeting on health insurance reform with a bussed-in, pre-screened audience before flying off to visit Yellowstone National Park on Saturday and the Grand Canyon on Sunday.

First Lady Michelle Obama appears to be packing on the pounds in this photo taken on the South lawn of the White House today. Barack Obama's social secretary Desiree Rogers (with her back to the camera), who moved from Chicago to work for Obama, remains thin and lean.

Most men love their women with a little extra meat on their bones. Rogers would be considered too bony for them. Maybe some would say Barack has the best of both worlds (I didn't start the rumors folks).

Meanwhile, Beyonce shouted out First Daughters, Sasha and Malia, who attended her concert in D.C last night with their parents.
