Carmelo Anthony: “La La was right to be upset”

Once people know what buttons to push to upset someone, they will push them every time to get a reaction. That’s what happened to NY Knicks star Carmelo Anthony after the Knicks lost game 5 to the Boston Celtics at the Garden on Wednesday, May 1. Boston bench rider Jordan Crawford approached Anthony and talked smack about La La Anthony.
Crawford reportedly said to Anthony, “My man [Kevin Garnett] f***ed your wife!”
After the game, La La took to her Twitter page and tweeted: “Try again. You on the bench for a reason.”
She also posted a message on Instagram.com that read: “STRONG WOMEN only intimidate weak men.”

Jeff, the Man in the wheelchair, is in critical but stable condition

One of the iconic photographs to emerge from the carnage of the Boston Marathon bombings on Monday shows a man with horrific leg injuries sitting in a wheelchair. Both his legs were blown off below the knees. The victim is in shock, his face drained of blood. A civilian wearing a cowboy hat runs alongside the wheelchair, holding onto one end of a tourniquet that is tied around the victim’s left leg to staunch the bleeding from his severed femoral artery. That tourniquet is the only thing preventing the victim from bleeding to death.
Almost immediately after the explosions rocked Boston and the world, we knew both of their names thanks to the speed of social media.
Body Language 101: Rihanna and Chris Brown

It looks like Rihanna and Chris Brown’s dysfunctional relationship has risen out of the ashes again. The astute among you will recognize this break-up-to-make-up pattern as the hallmark of dysfunctional relationships.
Rihanna, 25, tweeted the image above of her and Brown together. Brown’s body language in the photo speaks volumes. Once again Rihanna looks the part of the pathetic, clingy woman, while Brown looks like he can’t wait to get away from her. If you squint you can almost see the ball and chain that Rihanna has wrapped around Brown’s neck.
Rutgers Fires Abusive Coach Amid Public Outcry (Video)

Welp, that didn’t take long.
Rutgers University has fired men’s basketball coach Mike Rice less than 24 hours after ESPN’s Outside the Lines aired shocking video footage of Rice verbally and physically abusing his players.
The video footage shows an unhinged Rice physically attacking his players and throwing basketballs at their heads during practice.
The video sparked anger and outrage on Wednesday. NBA star LeBron James vented his anger on Twitter.com Tuesday, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was “deeply disturbed” by the video.
