Beyonce’s sibling Solange Knowles changed quickly to attend a runway fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC today.
Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles, 27, was seen arriving at the “Noon By Noor” show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014 in New York City earlier today. Solange’s wind blown natural afro evoked memories of Bozo the Clown, a popular TV character who entertained children in the 1960s and ’70s. Solange sashayed down the block wearing a smart looking skirt set and white shoes.

Beyonce’s little sister, Solange Knowles, stopped by Hot 97 to promote her new compilation album on Angie Martinez’s show on Wednesday.
Solange recalled pulling the “Knowles card” on a bully in the 7th grade around the time Beyonce’s song “No, No, No” was a hit.
“I used the [Knowles] card because there was this one kid, he was so obnoxious,” said Solange. “He was constantly kinda bullying, doing the most… called my mom the B-word. This kid was just out of control. I wrote petitions to get this kid [thrown] out of school. His name was Brandon. I said, ‘my sister is coming here and you’re gonna be really surprised who she is.’ [Beyonce and Kelly Rowland] pulled up, and I will never forget the face he made. They were coming to beat him up, but it was Destiny’s Child coming to beat him up,” she said.

Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles, performed her single “Bad Girls” at a Brooklyn, New York Atlantis laundromat. The 27-year-old singer and DJ Looked a little dead behind the eyes — probably due to medications she allegedly takes to control a rumored mood disorder. Despite the rumors surrounding recent cancellation of Solange’s European concert tour, observers report that she was lucid and lively during the Laundromat show.
The truth is out. For years, Hollywood insiders have whispered about Solange Knowles’s closely guarded secret: bipolar disorder. Beyonce’s younger sister has reportedly controlled her mood disorder with medications. But even after multiple medication adjustments she is still having issues controlling her erratic moods. Earlier this week Solange abruptly cancelled the European dates of her concert tour to remain close to her doctors here in the states.
Singer/DJ Solange Knowles was among the demonstrators taking to the streets around the country to protest the acquittal of the man charged with killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Solange participated in a rally for Trayvon at Brooklyn’s Borough Hall, in Brooklyn, NY, on Sunday — one day after a Florida jury acquitted George Zimmerman on all charges. Solo’s more famous sister, Beyonce, asked for a moment of silence during her concert at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. “I’d like to have a moment of silence for Trayvon,” said Beyonce on Saturday, about 30 minutes after the verdict was announced. President Barack Obama called for calm after the verdict. And the Dept. of Justice says it will review the case to see if Zimmerman violated Trayvon’s civil rights.
