Fabolous shared a rare clap back from Beyonce Knowles-Carter who confronted him about a lyric in his track "For the Money," in which he insulted her sister, Solange Knowles.

The 42-year-old rapper, real name John Jackson, compared the 2 siblings in his 2010 tune, rapping: "Because if you could have Beyonce, would you take Solange?"

Beyonce, 39, is known for ignoring bloggers and social media users who insult her on a regular basis, but she draws the line at anyone targeting her mentally-addled sister.

During an interview on The Breakfast Club radio show on Thursday, Fabolous admitted Beyonce confronted him when he met her shortly after the song's release.

"The first person I saw was Bey, and Beyonce was like, 'Yo, let me holler at you.' She was just telling me that they rock with me," he smiled.

Insisting Bey was gracious and polite, Fabolous explained his punchline rap style is not that deep:

"Punch line-y style is just to say something to be catchy and metaphoric, but I didn't see the deeper side of it. And Beyonce, I ain't gonna share the exact conversation, but she told me, '(These are) people. Saying something like that can personally hurt her.' And I said, 'You know what? I get it.' I said, 'Yo, when I see Solange, I'll apologize to her.'"

A few months later, Fabolous had the opportunity to apologize to Solange when he saw her at the SoHo House in New York.

But Solange is not her sister. The 33-year-old singer wears her raw emotions on her sleeve. Needless to say, she was less than receptive of his apology.

"I seen her, so I was like, let me beeline to Solange and apologize," he told the Breakfast Club. He said Solange's body stiffened when she saw him approaching.

"And Solange, she was stiff. I'm like, 'Hey! What's up?' And I was like, 'Yo, I just want you to know I didn't mean it in any malice, but I do take responsibility for saying that and I apologize.'"

Solange Knowles has confirmed reports that she split from her husband after five years of marriage.

The Cranes in the Sky hitmaker confirmed in an Instagram post on Friday, Nov. 1, that she and filmmaker Alan Ferguson decided to separate earlier this year.

"11 years ago i met a phenomenal man who changed every existence of my life. early this year we separated and parted ways," Solange, 33, wrote alongside a series of photos of herself.

Solange likely confirmed the split because rumors were running rampant that she and Ferguson no longer lived together.

It was the second marriage for Beyonce's younger sister, who has a history of mental illness and public emotional outbursts.

Solange was also previously married to her high school sweetheart Daniel Smith, the father of her 15-year-old son, Daniel Julez J. Smith Jr. She was just 17 when they wed, and they divorced in 2007.

the past 2 years have brought me more physical and spiritual transition and evolution than ever before my body left me with no choice but to listen and be still within that stillness i begin my journey in confronting my worst enemy, fear. ive lived my best and worst moments in front of the lens and gaze of the world since i was a teenager. ive always tried to live in my truth no matter how ugly or full of love it is. ive also tried to carve out the space to protect my heart, and my life as it unfolds, evolves, and changes. 11 years ago i met a phenomenal man who changed every existence of my life. early this year we separated and parted ways, (and tho it ain’t nan no body business ?) i find it necessary to protect the sacredness of my personal truth and to live in it fully just as I have before and will continue to do. it is unfair to not have power of your own story as you shape and mold and rewrite it yourself. a nigga ain’t perfect, but im leaning into the fear of the unknown and all the glory and power i know exist within god and the universes grace. may all of your transitions no matter how big or small, be kind to you and filled with incredible love and light!

Beyonce and her sister Solange Knowles got tested for a mutated gene called a BRCA2 gene after their dad Mathew Knowles was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The former Destiny's Child manager revealed his frightening diagnosis in an interview with Good Morning America that aired on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the second day of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

In his chat with Michael Strahan, Mathew, 67, revealed that the first call he made when he learned of his health battle was to his famous daughters - because they are at high risk to be carriers of the same gene.

"The first call was to my family, because this is genetics," said Mathew, pictured with daughter Solange. "It means that my kids have a higher chance, a higher risk (of getting cancer), even my grandkids have a higher risk, and they handled it like they should - they went and got the test," Mathew explained. He didn't reveal the results of the tests.

Everyone is born with BRCA genes that help to suppress cancerous tumors. But Mathew's gene has a mutation on it that led to his breast cancer diagnosis.

He added that after being told he had breast cancer, he was warned that he might be diagnosed with prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer or melanoma later on. He will continue to have regular mammograms and other examinations to ensure he is free from the disease.

Mathew is a father of at least seven children - five of his children were fathered outside of his marriage to Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, who filed for divorce and is now happily married to retired actor Richard Lawson.

Mathew fathered two young children with current spouse Gena Avery whom he married in 2013. He also has a son, Nixon, with Alexsandra Wright and a daughter with TaQoya Branscomb. And there is widespread belief that he is the biological father of Destiny's Child original member Kelly Rowland.

Mathew told Strahan he had his breast removed to prevent the cancer from spreading to his lymph nodes.

"I'm doing really well. I had my surgery the last week of July and now I'm going through all the steps for recovery."

So far, Beyonce has not commented on her father's diagnosis.
